Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced the release of the campaign's newest television advertisement, "Searching." The ad contrasts John Kerry's numerous different positions on the War on Terror and asks how he can protect us when he does not even know where he stands. You can view and link to the ad at:
A screenshot and transcript are below:
President Bush:
I'm George W. Bush and I approve this message.
John Kerry:
"It was the right decision to disarm Saddam Hussein, and when the President made the decision I supported him."
"I don't believe the President took us to war as he should have."
"The winning of the war was brilliant."
"It's the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time."
"I have always said we may yet even find weapons of mass destruction."
"I actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars before I voted against it."

reminds me of this ad (see link)
Thanks...... that is it.... I just couldn't remember the group....
I love it...it's such a great piece of Kerry doing sommersaults...and he convicts himself by his own words...
That is such a great ad... I think it is more effective (in 30 seconds) then the entire Kerry on Iraq documentary on the GOP site.
This just shows that Kerry can ONLY get the Anti-War vote (and only because they "hope" he is anti war).
Any person who votes FOR Kerry thinking he would "do the same thing as Bush" on Iraq, is a moron. Kerry would be very bad for America and the world.
ping
I bet this will be very effective, especially contrasted against whatever new position or complain Kerry comes up with in the debates.
Bump!
Excellent.
"Searching" is a wonderful ad.
Saw this on Fox in our area this afternoon. Didn't take long to get it to this swing state.
...'Searching' as background music to the ad... I can't remember the group from the 50s-60s.......
^^
Do you mean?
Gonna find her
Gonna find her
I'm searchin' every which a way
That was the Coasters.
Fantastic! These ads are funny and effective. On the other hand, Kerry is becoming a joke.
A very effective ad.
And a good side effect is the contrast between the looks of the President and Kerry.
Sooners, rout Texas Tech!
