Discussing debates...Kerry tough debater, Bush restates his positions...Kerry changes the subject if he doesn't want to answer a question..
Weld says Bush needs to keep his dukes up,Kerry can hurt cha but says if Bush is just himself he'll do fine..Mauro says Kerry should do more of what Bush does, state his positions
Abizaid did a terrific job on Meet the Press. And Russert game him time and opportunity to make his case.
Mauro on Fox was a snake. You could just see him looking for every opportunity to make the President look like a jerk.
I almost always see it Saturday at 5, so I'll attempt to forward the pundits to you at that time.
Andrea Mitchell and her face lift are not welcome in my home. Chris likes her; let him keep her and his low ratings.
"Biden just said "kerry will listen to the troops". He said it! What a piece of rat scrotom"
And terr-a-zaaa asks the janitor every morning, just how to run the ketchup factory!
"...you get tired of watching "googans" telling us it's raining...."
LOL, it ain't happening unless they say it is.
Ed Koch just said on Bloomberg Radio that Dems gave up on Kerry & says that they are gearing up to save as much as possible seats in Congress.
btt
He is reformulating as we speak..
Women voters...soccor moms v security moms..panel discussion..Mara says dem candidate has to do as well among women as the Republicans do among men and it isn't happening...
Bill Sammon is saying Kerry has to win debates to come out ahead..Kerry is deemed formidable debater...
Kristol says less impact on incumbent as people already have know about him..
Juan says Kerry will appeal to people saying we are not safer, bad judgements in Iraq...Trying for unmarried women who don't get out to vote.
This will be more stating issues rather than a debate because of the rules set up.No "Gore strolling toward Bush while he is speaking" moments(Bush gave him "the look", I recall)
And that is the greatest advantage of all.. President Bush can stand tall because he has led with the courage of his convictions, walking the walk, not just spouting the talk. He is a man of good character, and that gives him ALL the advantage he needs.
And Kerry-this is man who is genuinely blinded by ambition. So much so that he has had to embellish his record of military service, has had to HIDE his voting record, and cannot stick to one conviction.
Kerry does NOT know who he is, he only knows WHO he wants to be. That reflection, that strong evidence of poor character, had come to the front, and has repulsed this nation.
Oh, yes, Juan. Those single women who don't bother to vote surely sit in rapture before the TV watching the debates.
I will NEVER as long as I live forget the LOOK that Bush gave Gore then! LOL! Hoping to dominate Bush by his presence in Bush's space, Gore made an absolute FOOL of himself.
I think that did it for Gore, and if it wasn't for the DUI thing at the last minute, the election would not have been close.
"I will NEVER as long as I live forget the LOOK that Bush gave Gore then!"
It seems we are not alone in recalling this moment. Novak just mentioned it on MTP and called Gore getting into Bush's space a big mistake.
leadpenny has a thread on that Lefty on C-Span this morning. Read it and you'll see his "credentials."
