Keep 'em coming, Rhema. Humourless libs (are there any other kind?) *hate* being laughed at.
Ya know I could believe that Carville actually would make a statment like that.
Did anyone actually identify the goon in the union shirt?

If your statement is true, then the time for civil discussion has ended, and we must instead prosecute a civil war against the Democratic party and their brownshirt union thugs with the sort of fanaticism and ruthlessness normally seen in such groups as al-Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and Hizbullah.
Also, be on the look out for lost birds.
:-)

If you can't go to a small gathering at the airport and hold a sign, that's pretty darn sad. This wasn't a protest march or anything of the sort. Their signs weren't full of hateful pictures and sayings (like some lefties I've seen). If the shoe was on the other foot I would hope a Bush supporter wouldn't rip up someones Kerry sign, especially if it was held by a small child. This family has been taking their kids to political events for years. I think it's great. Far too many folks sit at home and their kids learn nothing.
I for one am fed up with people making excuses for that union guy's deplorable behavior.
Absolutely right.
When the day comes that I have to fear for my child's safety at a political rally, that is the day we know the negotiations have ended and the fighting begins.
I had to read that several time before I saw the "parody". Pretty sad when I think that this was actually published.
bttt
"When he dishonestly told false lies"....I take it that's worse than honestly telling true lies?
Agreed. Little kids should NOT be put into those sorts of situations.
LOL....just noticed the man in the background is holding what appears to be a Kerry/Edwards sign...upside down!
I got your back.........
Yes. The Union did amazingly enough -- The Herald-Dispatch has an article where it stated that the in-DUH-vidual responsible was identified by the union and will be disciplined. The money quote:
The person that many Democrats said was Parlocks son wore a T-shirt suggesting he is a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, AFL-CIO. Friday afternoon, James A. Williams, general president of the union, issued a statement apologizing to the Parlock family.I am not normally fond of unions, but I think this one should be given a kudo for its action. The incident at the airport "is an affront to everything we, as a union, pride ourselves to represent," Williams statement said.
"I have personally taken steps to address this issue internally, and will take immediate disciplinary action to the fullest extent allowed under U.S. Department of Labor regulations and the constitution of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades."
