Can you share some of the factors that worked in your favor, and some factors that worked against your ex?

Congratulations! You know that there are statistics that show that when men do fight for custody, they win a substantial amount of the time. But, usually men only fight for custody when the mother is a drug-addicted ho. It is a sorry fact that too many men settle for far too little time with their kids. It is not good for the children to be limited in their access to either parent.

Congratulations..........as long as you did it for the betterment of your kids and not as a vendeta against the X then I'm all for it........your kids always deserve the best parent when the marriage can't survive.

Kids need a mom and a dad so don't forget that.. I'm sure you desevered to win custody because the judge would not have ruled it otherwise. Please make every effort to show your kids that you love them always and make every effort to not destroy the image of their mother no matter what she is. They can make up their own minds on that.

Congratulations, I have a co-worker (Male) Who kept a log of the unfit mother's activities just as you and he won.
If a mother is truly unfit you just have to give enough rope and she will hang herself.
This man realized he had a real problem when he caught the mother holding the child underwater in the bath tub!
So, as you can imagine he filed for a restraining order.
He won even though they were not married.
