Hi everyone. My Dad has had two strokes in the last few days. He is only 64 years old. So far, he is very weak and confused but is still able to talk. The doctor is warning of the strong possibility of more strokes with progressing severity.
Will you please pray for my dad and my family as we deal with this?
Thank you all. It means so much.
Prayrers being sent for your dad, you, and your family- that your dad's health be restored, and that you and your family are comforted. The Peace of the Lord be with you.
God certainly works in mysterious ways. :)
Actually, thank you for praying but there is an update on post 173 and 176.
He passed away last night. If you have a moment, take a look at the pictures in 173. He went to vote yesterday and sweetly allowed us to take pictures.
He went into a coma shortly after voting and passed away last night.
Thank-you for the ping and update TexasFlower. The pictures were very touching and someone here with some connections ought to send in the pics and story so that our good President Bush may know of your father's devotion to upholding the beliefs that he shared with his elected leader. Prayers for your loss of a fine man are being sent.
We are here if you should need us.
Continued prayers for you and your family, for comfort through this difficult time.
texasflower, thank you for the news about your father, about his last vote, and your respect and love for him.
God bless you and your family.
Your posts are overflowing with peace, but the photos choked me up.

Prayers of comfort for you and your family,
I am thrilled he got to vote. You are a great daughter for making sure that happened.
Dont be so modest!! :)

.
My friend, the tears are welling in my eyes as I read about your loss. I know how much you will miss your precious and beloved father. What a blessing that he could vote and that he could be surrounded by his wonderful family as he passed from your loving arms into the Savior's loving arms. You will see him again, and your tears of sorrow will be changed into tears of gladness. Won't that be a glorious day when we see our loved ones in heaven and we can all rejoice in the Lord's presence, basking in His love, and dwelling with Him throughout eternity? May His comfort and peace surround you now. God bless and keep you.
