COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry canceled a campaign visit to Columbus on Thursday because of a strained voice, a campaign spokeswoman said Wednesday night."With the debates coming up, he needs to balance his campaign schedule and keep his voice strong," spokeswoman Kathy Roeder said.

Kerry also canceled a trip to Iowa on Thursday to rest his voice, and the campaign said vice presidential nominee John Edwards would take his place.
Must be time for another botox injection in those sagging jowls and bagging eyes.

The best thing for Kerry's campaign would be if he got larengitis for the next two months. The more he speaks, the more people learn about him and the less they like him.

This campaigning is the most work that Kerry has done in his life time.

The way his campaign is going I am expecting an announcement soon that will end, "... to spend more time with my family."
I really am beginning to think that Kerry doesn't have it in him to finish out this campaign. I think he is discovering that it is much more difficult than he thought it would be, and would like to be some place else with Terraza sipping pina coladas.
This could also be a move to save some money.

I would interpret this as an emergency pow wow to try and figure out what they can do to avoid the iceberg, dead ahead. It would be interesting if our GQ can find out who is visiting with Kerry while his throat gets a rest.

They're calling it a head cold but the guy looks yellow and sounds like a 90 year old ready to drop. Very strange.
Ironically the RATS has blundered with the reputation they have built for Kerry and Edwards both. They are still talking up the debates and how brilliant Kerry and Edwards are. Expextations are high for them. yet the reality ius Bush and Cheney will do well. That is likely to dash the hopes of liberals and reduce the voter ternout in Kerry's basew to a point senarte races are in trouble. If Kerry had been built as a truie underdog and Bush was expected by the MSM to clean his clock, they would have a better chance of a pleasant surprise. As it is disappoinment is almost certain.
But then brilliant is as brilliant does I guess. and one could hardly call this a brilliant staging plan by the Rats. Hey Carvile , Begala, you guys lurking?
