Kerry said on 9/21 during a campaign speech that we now know there were no connections between Al Qaeda and Iraq.
He must not have read the Senate Intelligence Committee Report or the 9/11 Commission Report, both of which cited the many connections between Iraq and AQ.
A high ranking Iraqi fedayeen soldier attended at least one pre planning 9/11 meeting with AQ.
Saddam knew 9/11 was coming and where we were going to be hit.
Even the Clinton Justice Department was able to obtain an indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties to Iraq.
A federal judge has granted two 9/11 families a multi-million dollar judgement - against Iraq.
During the 90's, the mainstream press wrote about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden. Old Media thinks we can't look these things up.

Hey, some of these came from you, so, dont thank me too much! :)
... Saddam Hussein's regime was actively training Iraqi intelligence operatives for terrorist attacks against U.S. interests
As I've posted many times and will continue to write on every thread where this comes up, the President clearly said that this is not a war against al Qaeda. It's a war against all terrorism with global reach. Saddam's IIS qualifies as such an enemy in its own right. Not other justification to attack Iraq is required.
I'm not so sure about this. According to senator Patty Murray (D WA) Osama bin Laden was too busy building day care centers.
bttt
I don't see how we could have afforded NOT to topple Hussein. As far as the WMD's go, Saddam had plenty of time to get them out of Iraq. How long did Inspector Cluessosp? (Hans Blix) stall the process- about a month or so, wasn't it?-more than enough time to get them out.
Even if Hussein didn't have WMD's -EVERYONE thought he did have them. What about the Oil for Food scandal? It seems clear that the UN was never serious about confronting Saddam.
So, according to the Rat's, we should have left Hussein in power, gone blissfully on , and let the corrupt UN "handle it". If we would have done that, it would have only been a matter of time until it led to disaster. Think about it, all the people that are in prison now (like Dr. Germ)would be out working for Saddam, dodging the inspectors, and taking kick backs to add to their coffers.
Saddam and Al Queda both hate us, but according to to the left, there was NO chance they would have joined forces? And we should have relied the UN to protect us? That doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
In case this didn't get into the links Saddam offered asylum to Bin Laden
Great post by the way. Lots of links and useful information.

Didn't the testimony to Congress by Duelfer also say that they could produce a year's worth of bio weapons in a month? He said facilities were there for WMD..

Awesome job. Bookmark.
I read in the New York Times and the Boston Globe that there was absolutely no link between them. Really.
Also it only takes a very small amount of bio or chem weapons to wreak havoc on a population. The Republican's have done a poor job of making the case for going to Iraq to our people.
The Rat's have been repeating "no connection" between Iraq/Al Queda for a long time now. It is starting to stick, because their attacks have gone mostly unanswered. In my opinion this is why president Bush's poll numbers aren't better (i.e. he should be miles ahead of Kerry).
Personally , I think our citizens should hear the speech he made to the UN. People need to be informed/reminded of why we are in Iraq, and why we went in, in the first place. Namely, it was a potential threat, its connections to Al Queda (just look at a map), they ignored 17 resolutions, no one, least of all the UN, was doing anything about the threats (other than on the surface "inspecting"). And now, we know the UN was up to its eyeballs in corruption, so they had no intention of confronting Saddam.
Another lie the dems are trying to push is that Saddam Hussein would have peacefully gone on terrorizing his own people and had no desire to attack us. It's well documented on this thread that this was not the case.
The book The Third Terrorist by Jayna Davis carefully researches the Oklahoma City bombing and it is clear that Iraqi exiles helped plan that attack with the help of Lily Whites (McVeigh and Nichols).
James Woolsey, former CIA director, and other people familiar with Davis's work on this matter have said someday the world will owe her a debt of gratitude when the truth about the OKC blast is known.
You are more than welcome, Redball. Share with your e-mail friends! Friends don't let friends believe Kerry's lies. LOL
Isn't Old Media something? So tired. So old. So irrelevant.
Fact of the matter is that you posted an untruth, your own sources recognize that your statement is incorrect, and you just can't acknowledge it. Says alot about your relationship with the truth.
Great work!
