Cool.
Now I realize that within this new alternative media there exists some jealosy,. I sense that some people dont want to give the blogosphere the full credit. They have to parcel it out because every body wants a piece of the action; this is quite normal, this is human nature. The fact of the matter is that it was the blogosphere and it was a couple of sites: Powerline and FreeRepublic. And FreeRepublic has been one of the most impugned blogs / websites in the history of websites by the very institution that has been brought down.
When Dan Rather talked about partisan political operatives, he means those who lurk at FreeRepublic. Who is FreeRepublic, its ordinary Americans liberals look down at ordinary Americans, dont know have enough decision making power, [?] do the right thing, not smart enough
You dont know how much it grates on them at CBS that its something like FreeRepublic or one of their chat rooms or one of the FReepers there or the Powerline you have no idea that it irritates them that that kind of person brought them down. An average, ordinary untrained journalist that you just do not know how this irritates them inside. More than the fact that they got caught, its who caught them that irritates them.
And, so just as I started out I was a fad, and I was a liar, and I made it up and I was bad for America and I posed threats to democracy, as the cover of Time said. So now the same things are being said about the bloggers. Fox news has had its turn and we all continue rotating in the criticism carousel of the left.
(He has also joined me in declaring "He's dead, Jim." where applicable. Thanks, Meek!)haha! My pleasure! :^D
Dammit, Jim, I'm a FReeper, not a blogger! || VRWPJC
hahahaaa! I assume that stands for "Vast Right-Wing Pajama Conservative" or Conspiracy .....
I remember when BobJ appeared on the CNN segment of Paul Zahn a short time back. It was a story about Bloggers and they talked about FR and Powerline busting Rather on his FAKE docs story. When she introduced Bob for the discussion, his first statement was that FreeRepublic was a actually a "bulletin board" not a Blog website.
I didn't know BobJ was on CNN! Darn, I missed it! Good goine BobJ !!!!!
Wow... great news! Thanks for the ping, Born Conservative.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent miscellaneous ping list.
Before class adjourns next time, you might want to use spellcheck yourself.
Personally, I think the writing level of Freepers is head and shoulders above other message board websites that I've seen. Nothing is perfect, nor should it be.
You may see the video on post 137. Here:

My pleasure. :^D
FreeRepublic has made historic gains in getting the truth to the masses. The internet, IMHO, will grow significantly with other websites such as the likes of FreeRepublic. Free Republic is now famous! This lies the fact that future websites and present must watch for fraudulent posting of stories that does not exists or not authentic. The mainstream news media will be "gunning" for us all, just toprove to the ilks of Dan Rather that we are all kooks that can't think "straight".
Bullfrog
Know what you mean! I wish I could listen to Rush everyday, but can't because of work. I value the precious minutes I get to listen to him and hope his audience continues to grow.
bump for later
