Doing what themselves?
They're not crapping all over us, they're killing us, plotting against our homeland, sending assassins, and seeking WMDs which they will not hesitate to use against us. That said, fighting a war on "terror" is like fighting a war on "bullets." We don't fight wars merely for the sake of killing. We fight to remove threats, and we destroy enemy soldiers until we reach, and destroy, the regime supporting the enemy. Again, we could spend years killing muslims and if we never destroy the regimes that throw these terrorists at us, we will lose. The only way to win is to kill the regimes that foment terror. If you want to drop a bomb and kill a few hundred thousand people extra, because of your rage, that defines what separates us. Good day.

It'll happen to europe first, and hopefully Americans will watch and see the horrors.
I think we'll have a full out war to end islam before europe even gets a chance, cause islam will nuke us first. However, if it takes that long, hopefully Americans will watch europeans being slaughtered en masse and wake up.

If I hear one more time about a "religion of peace" I am going to scream. No it is not a religion of peace.
It is a religion that:
1. Is silent in the face of terrorism
2. Refuses to acknowledge the obvious
3. Demands other people be tolerate of it while it is not tolerant of others
4. Justifies killing women and children in the name of jihad

I dunno how you can rest in peace really after having your neck slowly sawed off and making all sorts of struggling gurgling noises.
I agree but I feel no more sympathy for the hostages who is murdered by these maniacs, than I do the American servicemen and women who are being killed every day. I just wish everyone would get just as upset about them. They are killing Americans no matter how or why.

I appreciate your cool tone, and the point you raise is valid. I do think the war could be prosecuted better. But I am not going to strengthen my President by adding my voice to the dissent for his policies on either side.
The crux of our disagreement is what the most effective way to go to the "next level" is. If we nuke one city, there will only be more. We would end up killing everything that moves on the Arabian peninsula and then some. If we remove terrorist regimes, their network falls apart and each successive regime becomes easier. You say more innocents would be spared by leveling these swine in a swift fashion instead of dragging things out PC like. Believe me, I'm no advocate of PC anything. We do need to be ruthless--but only against our enemy and their supporters.
Who is making comparisons?...I have been on almost every thread posted on our military deaths...Those men are serving in my stead.
The act of beheading is one that draws more condemnation because of the personal brutality,the terror and pain inflicted...and killing in this manner an unarmed human being held hostage is particularly cowardly.
I am angry as well...but lets not forget the apologists for Islam and their atrocities who are also Americans and too blind to see the truth. And I firmly believe that Kerry, the UN and all of their ilk are aligned with these yellow bellied appeasers.
It is amazing that FR posters like Barlowmaker are making excuses for these murders. But like all apoligists and appeasers; they get angry and run away from a discussion once presented with the "FACTS". Current and past history has proven time and again the true face is Islam.
