If I hadn't seen it for myself I wouldn't have believed it. Living on the west side of the Cascade mountains not far from Seattle I am accustomed to seeing Kerry/Edwards signs practically everywhere.
My husband and I went to the Puyallup Fair which is one of the largest in the country and draws thousands. Under the grandstand there were the Democrat and Republicans booths handing out yard signs, stickers etc. After spending all day and night at the fair I can tell you that 8 out of 10 fair goers who were making a political statement were either wearing or carrying a Bush/Cheney sign. Even more surprising was that most were young people. Even a few vendors had Bush/Cheney stickers on their tables. I did not see one vendor with a Kerry/Edwards sticker.
Well, over here on the Olympic Peninsula we are very troubled with our present weather. It seems that when the wind begins to blow, the coconuts will fall from the trees and create quite a traffic hazard..

I'd like to agree with you but don't think Rossi, Nethercutt or Bush have much of a chance. I hope you're right and I'm wrong.
Oh yeah, you people that live in the sun belt. You may have nice palm and banana trees over there, but it rains all the time in Seattle.
Okay, I'll fess up. It's sunny here a couple of days a year.

That's for sure. The daughter just got back after a year in Chicago. I can't believe the racial tension there and it comes from both sides. It's like they are living in the dark ages.
This was confirmed by my friend who was born and raised in Chicago. That's one of the reasons she doesn't live there anymore.
If we can win in leftist Seattle, there's a chance to sweep the State.
This year I believe it is possible. For the first time in a long time. I think there is a shifting occuring and it ain't no earthquake.
Heard on the radio that Seattle is the most overpriced place to live in the US. Combine that with all the rain and lack of an open season on liberals and there's not much of anything good about living here.
I know one thing it's darn expensive to park there let alone find a place to park.
It's better to park than drive on the crappy roads in the rain.
Forgot to mention that you'll be in a traffic jam while driving on the crappy roads in the rain.
The roads are terrible. Practically shake your teeth right out of your head.

The mosquitos are terrible and how about those nasty seagulls?
Oh yeah, and when you walk around bare foot (inbetween rain squalls), you often step on a 8 inch slug. They're really squishy and you have to use clorox to clean it up.
Chuckling out loud here. I keep using the "rain" comment to all those people from "you know where", but my precious little town has grown from 2000 to 10,000 in the last ten to fifteen years. Sigh!
You need to tell them about slugs.
Oh, you're right. Especially now in the rainy season they are everywhere and I mean everywhere. Why can't we paint shells on them and export them to France?
