You're forgetting about the traffic. You've got to mention the hellacious traffic here. And the terrible road conditions. And the sales tax rates from Hell too......oh yeah, and the Indian Reservations - they're EVERYWHERE. Total slums. No zoning anywhere. Trailers next door to fancy homes. Real estate market dropping like a lead balloon.
This place is a real Hell hole. Don't even bother coming to visit, much less moving here.
Unless you're damned tired of state income taxes, or maybe shoveling snow, or you just can't stand to see everything in shades of brown. It's green here - like an emerald. Same yearly rainfall as NY city. Doesn't tend to get really hot or cold. West of the Cascades it seldom snows unless you're up in the mountains. No poisonous snakes. Fishing like you wouldn't believe, and hunting as well with long seasons and very few other hunters. Huge elk, lots of deer, mountain lion, and the occasional bear. Low crime rates in nearly all cities (with a few exceptions). Very little racial tension, if any. Low energy rates. Yeah, life really sucks here. It would be Heaven on Earth here if they started a season on liberals with no daily limit.

Very little racial tension, if any. That's for sure. The daughter just got back after a year in Chicago. I can't believe the racial tension there and it comes from both sides. It's like they are living in the dark ages.
This was confirmed by my friend who was born and raised in Chicago. That's one of the reasons she doesn't live there anymore.

Heard on the radio that Seattle is the most overpriced place to live in the US. Combine that with all the rain and lack of an open season on liberals and there's not much of anything good about living here.

Get away from your keyboard and go to your room. You know what you're not suppose to tell outsiders.
IT ALWAYS RAINS AND THE PLACE STINKS. Remember.
