LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich.; Mohamed ElBaradei, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency; Reps. Christopher Cox, R-Calif., and Charles Rangel, D-N.Y.; German Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger; Spanish Ambassador Carlos Westendorp.
The thing that troubles me are Daschle's constant references to our troops not having the necessary equipment. Does anyone know if this is true?
Yes it does matter. I don't know the viewership of MTP in South Dakota, but in a 50-50 election, it doesn't take much to swing an election. You can bet the SD press will cover the interview as well. I don't trust Russert to conduct a fair and objective interview. He will emphasize Daschle's national role as the Dems Senate leader, and probably enumerate Daschle's talking points against Thune.
Congrats! So are mine. No mistakes possible.
Hang in there eff'n...
at this rate you should be even by December :)
Woah. I'll have to wait for a tape delay in OKC to observe Daschle's sadness over his soon to be lame-duckedness.
Hardly he is playing us as he usually does.
I doubt he has pictures...he probably has greasy residue on his fingers after apply "Preparation H" before his time slot...
The only answer I can give you is that the ONLY people making such complaints are donkeys.
No soldier has been quoted saying such things....well, not in about a year. Early on, it was discovered the humvees were vulnerable on their undersides when they ran over an IED. That has since been addressed with metal reinforcements.
Given that it's only the donkeys, in a heated political atmosphere, who are saying this, I'd say it's probably not true.
And don't forget the hurricanes dominating the news.
McCain very carefully went through the Kerry minefield..He did not want to open old wounds. People came home and did not get a good reception. Both Kerry and Bush served honorably..Kerry's service well known, so he should have left it to other people to talk about...
Minnesota tied and hasn't gone for a Republican for 7 Presidential elections...
New Mexico..tied...Nader kept off ballot so feeling good about Kerry prevailing.(Richardson has dyed his hair REALLY black.)
Listening to TommyD on MTP explain the goodness coming out of that ad of him hugging President Bush---gag and lol.
That was painful to watch and listen to: How he and the leaders came together in a bipartisan moment to show the country coming together after 9-11.
And Tommy had a dumb smile.
To have ALL this information and to have NO IDEA!!!
How does he function in the real world?
"What kind of voting forms does S. Dakota use?"
Smoke signals and/or buffalo chips!
We don't get MTP til' 10 eastern but I would imagine Thune is measuring every breath and syllable he takes today due to the rat/spin factor. He could win this and doesn't need a rat attack.
McCain's "opposition" may be different from ours.
Who do you think is winning the debate between Daschle and Thune? Is Russert playing fair or does he appear to be in the tank for Daschle? How is Thune doing?
Whose gonna do the Juan Williams "slap-down" this AM? Kristol or Brit?
Thune is good.
That's weak. The wounds have never closed, so he need not worry about opening them.
McCain was asked if he thought the memos were fake. He replied that he had no idea. --- How is that possible? Has he spent the past week under a rock?
They will have to throw away those phone books after the show.
