WTG Louisiana. It would appear the MSM is wrong when they say America accepts homosexuality.

It's about the same proportion that Missouri passed it with.

I believe I see a trend developing.

I saw a piece on Fox News a few days ago that the gay lobby recognizes the trend and is pouring almost all their money into Oregon. I imagine that's in the hopes of getting a foot in the door and make a federal suit to have the "marriages" recognized nationally under the "full faith and credit" clause.

Kentucky will pass the same by a similar margin in November.

Surprise, Surprise
</sarcasm>

Seriously though, when this question is put to direct democracy on the state level it always wins with > 66% of the vote, California & Hawaii included.
Is this 5 of 6 straight wins?

Even higher than Missouri.

I guess near 80% of the people in LA are closet bigots.

It couldn't be that people inherantly understand the strength of a one man/one woman union forming the foundation of the family structure.

I didn't know that it was going to be on the ballot here in KY this November.

I have to admit I have been woefully ignorant of the KY political scene since the Fletcher Election.

I'd sooner barf that read the Communist Urinal, local news has been filled with the homicide of the day for months.

I guess his friends in the black robes will have to ride in to the rescue since "the rabble" can;t be trusted to endorse deviance on their own.

Yes, I said MA. It's about 2:1 up here.

I am a closet and proud bigot. I admit it. I believe a marriage only exists between a man and a woman. To those who wish to expand the definition of marriage into the land of Sodom and Gomorrah, I say, Go to Hell! We won't let you screw our country up any more than you already have.

Yep. This is not a states rights issue due to that clause. Anyone who says differently simply doesn't want to take a stand.

I'd be willing to bet on an even higher % if they manage to recall the election due the Orleans Parish election machine delivery SNAFU.

Ah...fly your Kentucky flag so you can keep up with what is going on in the latest discussion on the Kentucky board.

Click Here for a scene from the House floor debate where one of the Dem leaders blasts Christians for supporting the amendment.

The GOP members walked out in protest when the Dem leadership attempted to block the bill.
