Pat Buchanan and Joe Scaroboborough are not using the kid gloves used by the host of the formerly number one show in cable news. Buchanan said CBS was complict in a criminal conspiracy to affect a presidential election. Scaroborough is evidently not in negotiation with Rather for a future interview.
Wouldn't it be great if this could do something about media bias? I think the longer CBS drags it out, the more "bias" will become an issue.
Bernie Goldberg looks really good these days.
Buchanan predicted Rather will have to go.
I've been really surprised at Mort Zuckerman. He's a FOH.
Kohn says Dan has a legal problem and a business problem. The source for the memos could turn on Kohn.
Zuckerman has been trashing CBS on Fox for at least two days.
This is great, the tone is funerial.
the airwaves at CBS during the remainder of elections and then decide what to do with him later.
The best part is when Joe asked Pat...
"does Dan Rather have any idea how stupid he looks..."
That was golden.
Well done.
That didn't come out right. Buchanan says that Rather should be taken off the air during the rest of the elections and then they can decided what to do with him afterwards.
Pat Cadell on O"reilly said somehitng abot a law on the books in Texas that makes fabrication of government documents & using them to commit fruad a felony...
Where's that kind of investigation?

I am the worst person on this forum on stocks/finances; can you explain to me what you think is going on ...and why? I can see the stock going down, but what is causing that?
Buchanan actually calls upon Rather to step down. Gee, will Rather now start whining about the "Vast Right-wing conspiracy"???
Here's an update on Daley's new position at J.P. Morgan.
Daley: Ex-SBC President To Head JPM Midwest Arm
Mark Tatge, 05.17.04, 4:13 PM ET
NEW YORK - Doers and doings in business, entertainment and technology:
William Daley
Mr. Daley goes to Chicago. President of SBC Communications (nyse: SBC - news - people ) until he resigned last week, William M. Daley, 55, is heading to the Toddling Town. He'll sit as chairman of J.P. Morgan Chase (nyse: JPM - news - people ) Midwest operations. That surname is of course well known in the Windy City. Brother to Mayor Richard Daley, he is no stranger to the nexus of politics and finance: William Daley served as Commerce Secretary under President . J.P. Morgan and Bank One are slated to cement their merger this summer, forming a $1.1 trillion bank. Now watch out for the revolving door: Bank One (nyse: ONE - news - people ) Chief Executive James Dimon is moving to New York to help run the combined company until William B. Harrison, J.P. Morgan chairman and CEO, steps down in 2006. But Midwesterners needn't fear a "flyover mentality" in the new hybrid firm: ear J.P. Morgan has vowed to keep a significant presence in the heartland, where it employs some 40,000 of its 140K combined domestic workforce. Nearly 14,000 of those jobs are in Chi-town.
It was just reported last night the documents were faxed from Texas
In all fairness to them .. I'd give them more then a day to get on the case
But I do agree .. they do have to investigate
Rather lied! Sumner cried!
Rather lied! Sumner cried!
Rather lied! Sumner cried!
Relax....there are rumblings down in Austin.
There are a whole host of things that must happen first.
There are also some questions that must be answered about the memos first.
That whole interpretation garbage. "Since the memos are fake...can it really be seen as forging a military document".
I know that sounds crazy...but it will come up.
I believe it is forgery of a military document. And Texas has some serious laws about that.
Zuckerman stepped up a lot more than he did last night. I'm suprised to see all these guys basically say Rather is done.
Man, this is good...if we can just get some mileage about the liberal bias in the MSM. Bernie Goldberg should be in big demand for a while.
