August 25, 2004 Bill Burkett wrote a commentary: "Bush lies abour his service, smears Kerry's and seeks exoneration for the Abu Ghraib brass" for the ONLINE JOURNAL.
In this four page document Mr. Burkett states:
"George W. Bush, you may be the president(sic). But I know you lied.
I know from your files that WE HAVE NOW REASSEMBLED."

Hold your fire. I'm being told that this is a different Burkett. Sure enough, Burkett the forgerer looks different than Burkett the author.
