I forget that some people are not as politically aware as freepers are and experience can be a brutal teacher. That guy on the left is lucky he didn't tear up my kid's sign. If that had been my kid, I would have handed her off to her brother for a minute and then knocked that punk down and taught him some respect for freedom of speech. Bullies are usually wimps when someone stands up to them.

I would say the father is in part responsible; make that "irresponsible," for putting his daughter in a potentially very dangerous position. Do you think Bush/Cheney supporters would react in the same way at one of our events? He wanted to show his kids the process in action. How folks with differing views can share space without resorting to violence or thuggery. Unfortunately, the average cranial capacity of a Democrat is very limited and does not allow for much rational thought. Union members are not known for having high IQs or good character. They are the dregs, the gutter trash.
