The originator of the online discrediting of the Killian memos identifed himself only as 'Buckhead,' but a little sleuthing on the website pulls up his other postings and thus a lot more about him.
On the site, (MSNBC displays FreeRepublic.com page with the Buckhead posting) Buckhead claims he is a lawyer from the Atlanta area who participated last month in a meeting of lawyers for Bush-Cheney, an organization he said will be called upon in the event there are election irregularities and everyone winds up in court again.
He says he was worked for a Congressman prominent in GOP legal circles down in Georgia.
So the Killian documents come out and are almost immediately questioned by a lawyer with Republican ties and are distributed to other news organiztions without comment by the White House and they nly have one of their principal endorsers (Bobby Hodges) retract his endorsement.

We already went through the "I am Spartacus," routine with Buckhead last night.
I totally agree, mk. It was a post here and that was it. Others sent the post elsewhere with lightening speed and we were off to the races.
Olberman is such a jerk (YEAH, and I hope YOU'RE reading this...JERK). LOL, Sean Hannity just said Olberman linked his website to the Playgirl's Sexist Newsguy or whatever it was to get the votes.
I'm sure there are far more members with direct ties to the Kerry campaign...it's just that their accounts don't seem to have a great life expectancy.
Your billable hours receipts sir.
The only ones who read Playgirl are homosexual men.
Everyone knows that, apparently, except Olberman.
We already went through the "I am Spartacus," routine with Buckhead last night.
Some FReepers have not had their chance to step-up. When did you decide the rest of us were through?
Yep, he drank the kool-aid and died.
You forgot Osama. We were the ones who talked Bill into letting him go so 9-11 would happen and we'd go to war with Iraq. It was all part of our plan.
*I* am Buckhead!
Yea, it's petty. I've done it and I got A'S in ENG and spelling. It happens when one is typing fast and brain is engaged on what (you're, your) trying to say.
I posted that Olberman is a JERK. :) Get me a billboard.
What kind of loser links his own website to a playgirl hottest man contest? Talk about EGO!
Cue trailer parody:
Buckhead: "I can't remember anything that happened more than two weeks ago. My first memory is of posting on Free Republic."
Narrator: "Jason Buckhead was Karl Rove's top agent."
MoveOn.org donor: "YOU! STOP RIGHT THERE!" (Scene of incredible violence ensues, Buckhead decapitates MoveOn.org donor with a CD-ROM of TrueType fonts.)
Narrator: "But he's about to become John Kerry's top target."
Karl Rove: "He's been trained to recognize fonts, conditioned to understand kerning and tab stops. Kerry will do anything to stop him."
Narrator: "Based on true events...The Buckhead Identity."
LOL, I don't know if it's true, Hannity just said it(but I think he was kinda laughing when he said it!)
I went down to Daytona Beach a year or two after HS during spring break. We visited these girls who had rented an apt. for a week and they had pinups from that magazine on the walls. I thought it was weird. Guess they couldn't find any real guys. :)
Better yet, it's called, The Buckhead Supremacy", LOL!
Ha! I only found out about it myself a few months ago!
I figured I was the last person to learn it!
