The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Muslim group takes responsibility for 9-11: 'We are so sorry'

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and "intellectuals" blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11. Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and "steal" Iraqi oil.

Russian oil tanker explodes, six people missing

Six people are missing after an oil tanker exploded on a Russian river near the Arctic.

The tanker was believed to be carrying 600 to 800 tonnes of petrol and 180 tonnes of oil. Six people were taken to hospital, four of them in a serious condition.

It was unclear what had triggered the blast, which happened while the tanker was being unloaded near a village in the republic of Yakutiya.

Initial reports suggested the explosion was in the engine room of the tanker.

Emergency service officials say local residents were evacuated from nearby villages because of the possibility of a further explosion from the burning tanker.

and the next headline says

Several destinations are fogged in and airports closed. Could her destination be Cincinnatti?

I didn't catch the second article, but that is funny spacing for articles, especially relating to the Pope. I was shocked at the first headline, considering the role of abstinence in the Church among the priests, bishops, et al.

This week we've found posts showing drinking beer and sex are good for us, and even drugs are okay if you're a juror in New York. All are distactions from terrorism and its effects upon us. After reading about:

Porous borders with large percentages of ME types freely entering our country

The knowledge there are sleeper cells moving freely about our country who are bound and determined to kill us

Muslim leadership has yet to assist in helping Homeland Security to detain radical Islamists hellbent on killing Americans

There may be dirty or nuclear bombs in strategic places in some of our cities awaiting either discovery or detonation (let alone biological or chemical weapons)

ME types have freely photographed buildings, dams, national monuments, airplanes, trains, chemical, nuclear and oil facilities with seemingly no repercusions

Lawyers, judges and the ACLU working to free known terrorists or ME types with terrorist ties and in many cases actually seeing them freed. They are also destroying our religious rights and giving them to a sect that wishes our religious rights totally destroyed

Threats of nuclear annihilation from N. Korea and Iran with other rogue nations gleefully awaiting our demise

The possibility the "Go" code has been given while we continue to wait to find out when and where

A national election whereby approximately 1/2 of our fellow citizens have no clue what damage they may cause should they elect the wrong person as our President

perhaps we need a little good news - and a lot of prayer! Have a great weekend Bethshaya!

$4M bond frees suspects in money laundering case

CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- Two men accused of laundering millions of dollars to finance terrorist activities by the Palestinian militant group Hamas were ordered released on bond Wednesday and placed under house arrest.

Muhammad Salah and Abdelhaleem Ashqar posted bond using the value of homes pledged by friends and relatives.

Salah, 51, of suburban Bridgeview, was ordered released on $1.4 million bond. Ashqar, 46, of Alexandria, Virginia, was freed on $2.6 million.
