CBS EVENING NEWS WITH DAN RATHER to address, in detail, the issues surrounding the authenticity of the documents broadcast in the 60 MINUTES report on President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard... Developing...
I don't know if this has been brought up, but if Killian didn't type it means he had to have had a clerk or typist. Surely somewhere there must be a record of who clerked for that office. Has any news org. or anyone else tried to track down someone who might know what kind of typewriters were used on the base at that time?
BTW, I read the whole thing unfold here and it was wonderful to see all the great minds coming together.

"If Dan Rather loses his job over this than like those commercials for Cialis say, I will need to see a physician because it is said that erections lasting over four hours can be dangerous to one's health.?
Dan will never reveal his sources 'cuz they lead back to Hillary. CBS still doesn't believe in the Internet or the blogosphere- why should they believe that there's a difference in formatting between a typewriter and MS Word?
Dan is probably pressuring IT geeks over at CBS this very moment to come up with a plausible non-denial denial for him to trot out to the public tonight. This guy will NEVER admit the truth.
There are two polls on the subject on CNN.

If you are so inclined, CNN needs a little FR power!
The font on the memos is a TrueType TNR, used as a default on most Windows version of MSWord. Subtle differences, including kerning and letterspacing, from the font created in 1931.

And even the IBM Compositor was only used in print shops. Game, set and match.
If Rather goes down that will be a "twofer" for me, if SeeBS goes down it will be a "threefer".
I hate John Skerry for what he did in 71 (I'm a Nam Vet) and I hate Rather for what he did to my parents in '67 & '68, when I was fighting in Viet Nam. You see, Danny boy reported from Viet Nam right after the Hue battle (the end of the Tet offensive) the contingencies of the 7th Marines and 101 Airbourne Rangers had taken "heavy" casualties during the battle for Hue. That wasn't true! But, my Mother and Father didn't know that, watching the SeeBS news back in Texas. They assumed that they would get a visit and a telegram from the US Army telling them that their son had died, in Hue, in defense of his country. Danny never corrected his original report, he just kept giving bad news about Hue. We took the enemy out,(NVA regulars and Soviet Troops, not many but certainly advisors), kicked their asses out of that vill in 4 days. Then the 7th Marines and my Ranger outfit chased the enemy up the trail, engaging them when we could, we did have artillery and air (gunship) support, but it was mostly the ground pounder that did the work. With all this work I was in the combat zone for about 2 weeks. I never had a chance to write my mom and dad, all they heard was Dan Rather reporting that we were losing the war.
When we had chased them to a place called "the corner" (the intersecting borders of Cambodia, Laos, and Viet Nam) we were relieved and sent back to our individual "base camps". When I got back I fired off a letter to mom & dad and my girl (at the time). I wrote nothing about the action, just the "regular stuff", you know...I love you, I'm OK, don't worry, be home soon, that kind of stuff (don't tell the truth, it worries the loved ones, just tell them what they want to hear).
We stayed in base camp for almost a week. We got 6 days off, that was heaven. Back out in the boonies (firebase Utah) I get a letter from my dad...I NEVER got a letter from my DAD. It seems that my mother, and my dad, had spent 4 weeks in hell, not knowing whether I was dead, wounded, or alive and kicking, thanks to Dan Rather. He put those wonderful people though a hell that they had never imagined. To the day that my mother died she would not permit Dan Rather on HER TV, she hated that man with a passion I had NEVER seen my mother produce, dad was the same way. I told her, in a letter, that if I ever got to Saigon I'd kick the SH*T out of that man for what he did to so many mothers and fathers. I never got there, I was too busy fighting the enemy in the boonies, but I always wanted to beat that man into next week. It looks like I won't have to.
Danny and John F'n...traitors of the same stripe. Both of you are going down, like a turd in the latrine. To my Mamma & Daddy in Heaven....he's fixin to get his. Thanks for the help up there.

If above statement is true, and I hope it is, then you have the first DEFINITIVE evidence of fraud. Now, please elaborate further on why the font indicates TrueType TNR rather (sorry) than IBM Executive Times Roman.
I just remembered this from another Freeper posting to me yesterday.
Try to reproduce these documents in other word processing platforms, using their default settings. WordPerfect, for example.
LOL!!!
Beautiful thought JimVT, but "Rabber" hasn't got the honor or an Admiral Borla.....otherwise he would have left the scene llong ago.
Great pic by the way. Good dig!
You bet! I'm going to take down names of "experts" and try to Google them to see what comes up.
