Credit where it is due,Howlin's thread,Buckheads post.
Howlin, every single one of these memos to file is in a proportionally spaced font, probably Palatino or Times New Roman.
In 1972 people used typewriters for this sort of thing, and typewriters used monospaced fonts.
The use of proportionally spaced fonts did not come into common use for office memos until the introduction of laser printers, word processing software, and personal computers. They were not widespread until the mid to late 90's. Before then, you needed typesetting equipment, and that wasn't used for personal memos to file. Even the Wang systems that were dominant in the mid 80's used monospaced fonts.
I am saying these documents are forgeries, run through a copier for 15 generations to make them look old.
This should be pursued aggressively.

This ain't the first time either. From the "Sore Loserman" of 2000, to the post that let us know about a closed door recount going on in Florida that led to the " Republican riot" that stopped it, to the co author of " Unfit for Duty" to this deconstruction of a CBS hit piece IN REAL TIME FR is shaping the news, not just following it. Thank Jim Rob. Thank you fellow Freepers. The VRWC is proud.

FR has lived up to its mission statement the last few days.Yep. It doesn't happen often, but, when it does, it's as sweet as cow salve butter on a fresh morning biscuit.

Congrats again. Since you're in the middle of the storm please remind us FReepers to look over the other posts on sKerry's site - someone noted that his DD-214? looked like it had proportional fonts and those areas were lighter compared to the "typed" portions - wonder what else he's hiding?
Freeping' minds want to know! However its way past my bedtime ... tommorrow's another day! ;-)

Take a bow Howlin!....you have officially ushered in the new paradigm....the media will never be the same. Well, hot damn. How does it feel to be a thought leader, a bridge-builder, a veritable pioneer in the penetration of the web into the stolid legacy infrastructure?
BTW, I sell techno-adjectives dirt cheap.
