Dennis Prager: They Shoot Children, Don't They?
Town Hall ^ | September 7, 2004 | Dennis Prager [Creators Syndicate]

Posted on 09/06/2004 11:00:42 PM PDT by quidnunc

According to The New York Times, when the terrorists took over the Russian elementary school, they shouted "Allahu akbar" ("Allah is the greatest").

Does this surprise you, dear reader? Does it shock you that the people who deliberately attacked a school and then systematically shot and blew up little children did so in the name of Islam?

Unfortunately, the question is rhetorical. Having targeted little children for death, there is no atrocity, no barbarity, no act of evil that the human race cannot imagine fanatical Muslims committing.

We have already become almost inured to:

The slaughtering of innocent human beings as if they were animals while chanting Muslim prayers.

The reintroduction of black slavery and genocide against blacks.

The murder of daughters and sisters for imagined or real sexual behavior.

The stoning of women accused of adultery.

The burning of Hindu temples and Christian churches, and the destruction of among the greatest Buddhist sculptures.

The ban on women driving cars or learning to read.

The idolization of young men who blow themselves up while murdering and maiming innocent non-Muslims — and the theology of sexual rewards in heaven for doing so.

These are some of the atrocities being committed by Muslims in different parts of the world today.

The silence of the Muslims equals quiet, tacit support for terror, to this humble infidel.

It is a long-standing point of Law in America and even before that, that silence gives consent. The "moderate" Muslims are happy with the murder of we infidels. When they deny it, they are "virtuous" according to the Koran in deceiving the infidel for the cause of Islam.

Sorry, didn't realize I had an answer so soon. Thanks.

Am soliciting books on this for reading list before giving any opinions. Imperial Hubris is on it, also Terrorists Among Us. I have to order both, geographically challenged town.

Have you any book suggestions. And do you speak any middle eastern languages.

Thank you, Norski

Islam is definitely a "religion".

It is a false religion, one that teaches a false, distorted revelation of God's heart and will. The true revelation of God is found in the life and mission of Jesus Christ.

I didn't see anything in my newspaper, and I live in a part of the state with a large Muslim population.

Bump to all that --- they keep telling us that there are a billion peaceful muslims and a mere handful of extremist who have "hijacked" the religion --- BUT you would not see 5 or 6 Baptists or Lutherans or Orthodox Jews hijack their religions and be allowed by the others to get away with it.

Muslims are tolerating all the violence --- the slaughter going on in the Sudan, the beheadings in Indonesia, the flying of airplanes into the WTC, the shooting of little kids in the back --- because they agree with the goals.

Either they are cowed into silence because they too are afraid of Islamic terror retribution if they speak out, or they agree with the terrorists.

It was no different with the Nazis during WWII in Germany. They would pretend not to see the atrocities being done --- but they allowed them by giving their quiet consent -- abetting murderers.

"If Islam was truly a "religion of peace," then we would have seen tens of thousands of Muslims marching in dozens of cities this weekend, decrying the slaughter of children done in the name of Allah, in the name of Islam. The silence of the Muslims equals quiet, tacit support for terror, to this humble infidel.A few newpaper columns means nothing. Where are the mass demonstrations against the unspeakable evil done in the name of their religion?"

Travis, you are right on the mark. I have been asking these questions since I saw the (now disappeared) video of the Muslims dancing for joy in the streets on 9-11. When as many Muslims gather in the streets to condemn terrorism as gather to cheer it on; only then I will believe it is a religion of peace.

But the most powerful religion in America, the religion of tolerance, has rendered it almost impossible to ask any such questions.

There will be a point when even the most strident adherents of this religion, mostly liberals, will not be able to justify their hypocrisy any more. That time will be when murdering children in the name of allah comes to their front door.

Unfortunately it will come to that.

I have never witnessed Muslim's marching for any cause.

You weren't in Dearborn last year.

SADDAM HUSSEIN'S CAPTURE: Across metro Detroit, cries of joy quickly turn to calls for justice

Iraqi Americans chanted their love of the United States on Dearborn's streets when Saddam Hussein's regime fell in April. They threw candy into the air when his sons were killed in July.

As news of the deposed Iraqi president's capture broke Sunday, people headed for the streets again. This time, their exuberance was short-lived. By midafternoon, the streets were calmer. People were subdued.

And earlier...

Arab-Americans rally after Saddam statue toppled

DEARBORN, Michigan (CNN) -- Shortly after television pictures Wednesday showed U.S. troops toppling a huge statue of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in Baghdad, about 2,000 people in the heavily Arab-American community of Dearborn, Michigan, gathered to celebrate.

Many held signs that read "Free Iraq" and "Thanks USA!" One read "Saddam gone with the wind." Many women, wearing headscarves, happily held their children, who waved American flags.

"We are 4 million in exile," said Husham al-Husainy, a leader of the Muslim Iraqi community here. "Two million people got killed by Saddam. Hundreds of thousands of men, women and children in prison. What do you expect? It is a celebration. Thanks God."

The peaceful crowd came together along the city's Warren Road, which is a main street of the area's Arab-American neighborhood, said Dearborn Police Sgt. Walter Anhut.

Dennis Prager cannot be dismissed as a radical partisan of Israel. For a very long time he actually opposed Israel's domestic right wing and supported the "peace process."

Where are the mass demonstrations against the unspeakable evil done in the name of their religion?

You won't see it, they are too busy coming up with nice sounding excuses, demanding freedom for the muslims to come here and do whatever they want here. Trying to turn the Constitution into something that allows them to kill us.

even among Palestinians, there are no Christian terrorists.

This is a good thing to hear. However, chr*stian "palestinians" are militant in their sympathy for islamic terrorists.

Do "palestinian" chr*stians (and their supporters in the non-Fundamentalist churches throughout the world) actually believe that their lot would be better in a PLO-run state?

The problem comes when people justify terrorism. Instead of condemning it wholesale, they attempt to rationalize it behind a facade of merely playing Devils Advocate.

"The Palestinians suffer too"
"The military has done this in the past"
"The Jews caused this Holocaust by wrecking the economy".

The problem is that terrorists have no concept of the innocent. All they want is to hurt people by any means necessary. That's why you cannot be silent. Silence basically puts you on their side. Muslims HAVE to speak out against terrorism without justifying it. Otherwise, they will be seen as supporters.

I knew a guy who liberated a Nazi concentration camp. He was amazed at the number of Germans in the area who said "This is horrible but.....". That's what made the GI's so mad.

Amen. Criticism of anything anymore is not PC in this country. Except, of course, republicans, conservatives, or Christians.
