Hmmmmmm.........
I'm no expert.......
But.....
Ain't the barrel on that gun just a tad too short?
(My own double shotgun has 30 inch barrels)

Me thinks, Mr. Kerry has been shooting too many borrowed guns. Check out the nice bruise on his cheek from getting whacked in the face,by shotguns that do not fit.

Ain't the barrel on that gun just a tad too short? It sure is. 28" barrel looks like. Most serious trap shooters, use single barrels. Over unders are used for doubles. But, we know it's just a photo op. I doubt that he is even at a trap club. Someone on another forum, stated that they shoot at the Twinsburg Trap Club, and the background is not anything like that.

I want to see Kerry shooting a IPSC match against Jerry Michulek and Rob Leatham... now that would make him look like a SUPER DORK!
To: SlickWillard
Yo! Great question.
I saw that myself and wondered, "what the f*** is that?"
Does anyone know what the yellow wrist band is?

I noticed that too!
(The NRA SHOULD IMMEDIATELY issue a press release protesting his examples, and demanding he wear protective gear on ANY shooting range.....)
As an example for the children!
---
But the liberal kool-aid drinkers won't notice his blatant effort to get the middle-of-the-roaders, or won't care (since they KNOW he will immediately begin working to register all weapons anyway!), and the center-middle will be impressed anyway (because the press WON'T print his errors and laugh at his incompetence (only Quayle can screw up in photo-ops!), and any right-wing gun nuts who DO notice will only laugh at his incompetence...

Hey! Thanks for the reply. Good to see you again. I see the "flying clay" is still up on your page too.
My old shotgun is a 12ga. side by side double. It's been in the family for years. It has been well taken care of, still shoots like a dream.
My Dad and my Grandpa said it "put a lot of meat on the table" back in the great depression years.
I've been offered a lot of money for it.
and
No. It is not for sale. lol

Yes, different day. I pulled this off another forum to show the bruise. He might have actually been, shooting that day. I cannot imagine shooting without, eye/ear protection. That is foolish.

Actually, I have a pretty severe hearing loss from mu time in the Army. These days I don't operate any noise producing machinery unless I'm wearing muffs. When I go out by myself for some plinking or serious range time I wear muffs. However when I'm on a formal range with other people I wear what some call ear valvs. A set of ear plugs with a sensitive valve mechanism that closes with the concussion of a shot being fired. I consider them safer because I'm protected while firing is going on and I can still hear range commands and the people around me when firing stops.

Why is kerry pushing the gun issue?
Certainly not because it wins elections. Kerry is pushing the gun issue because Kerry is desperate. He is trying to keep the gun issue front and center because AWB is for his core. Kerry is trying to maximize voter turnout for the democrat base, not good for kerry to be doing this 50+ days out.
NOBoDY takes him seriously as a second amendment advocate. (perhaps hand gun control inc and the UN)
