Ain't the barrel on that gun just a tad too short?

It sure is. 28" barrel looks like. Most serious trap shooters, use single barrels. Over unders are used for doubles. But, we know it's just a photo op. I doubt that he is even at a trap club. Someone on another forum, stated that they shoot at the Twinsburg Trap Club, and the background is not anything like that.

My old shotgun is a 12ga. side by side double. It's been in the family for years. It has been well taken care of, still shoots like a dream.

My Dad and my Grandpa said it "put a lot of meat on the table" back in the great depression years.
