Has Drudge Jumped the Shark?
Posted on 09/03/2004 9:01:43 AM PDT by Shortwave
It's Friday and I'm feeling great! I want to get Freeper's opinion on something that I've noticed as of late. Has the Drudge Report jumped the shark? The content of his site has been very lame and late in posting. With the political "spit balls" firing back and forth, it seems that his coverage has not been good. It appears to me as a trend. Just my opinion but I would like to hear yours.

Monica and Bill made Drudge because it was auctually a scoop on a story about a story that was being spiked. Now he just links to headlines. He needs to actually report on something or he risks being left behind. Google News and other news compilation pages link to stories and, in my opinion, present a pretty broad range of opinions.

Drudge "jumped the shark" for me a couple of years ago.
I never bother to go there anymore. Why go there when you can come here?

Well yea...
Did you have the two of them on RightTalk?
But did you see Laura Bush also? (she's hot too but I think she is taken...)
It was too early out here to listen much.

I could. But I won't.
It's probably better for my marriage if you don't.

The Democratic party jumped the shark in 1992

Drudge seems to be in love with Hollywood-friendy stories and not much else, movin' on up I guess.

By his own admission he has been partying a lot.
He's a celebrity now.
He even hosts his own parties for the big shots.

Laura was doing her own show and pretty much flew in and out...we didn't get an opportunity to grab her. We did get an interview with Ann Coulter, we didn;t see her at all until the last day and she wrapped up the entire webcast for us!

"I know he lives in Florida, but his fixation with hurricanes is quite annoying"
It is not, if your in the path, or if your interested.
I have been using his site for tracking storms, and it is good with the important links to radar and up to the moment information.
