BESLAN, Russia - A group of about 30 women and children broke out of a school in southern Russia where militants were holding hundreds of people captive Friday, a news agency reported, after two loud explosions were heard and Russian commandos opened fire near the building.

The Interfax news agency said that the school's roof had collapsed and militants were shelling and firing from the building. Interfax said the hostages who broke out of the school included women and children. It was impossible to immediately verify the reports.

Two helicopters hovered overhead. An ambulance rushed from the scene and CNN reported that at least two people were wounded. On Thursday, the militants inside the school had released some 26 of the hundreds of hostages held inside the building since Wednesday.

O yes o yes... And Mothers/ soldiers who are willing to arm themselves and protect their children. If they were to target my kids at school... There I would be, armed to the teeth with nothing to fear. Right now, if I were a mom in that school, I would be organizing a good ol' posse.
I wouldnt be on a suicide mission either... Just in case some islamofascist is reading this... DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! In nature, females of most species are protective of their children, even to death, even against their own father. All I can say is... Time to dust off the guns and get to the target range.

They are Muslims...just like the ones in the Theatre...no doubt there were Arabs among them as in past attacks. Hopefully, Russia and the US can now come together and kill these bastards.

Reporting is a little confusing--the ones I'm hearing sound like at least part of the building was blown up. I'm also hearing reports of a large number of casualties.

ITV julian manion reporting that some children managed to get away and were fleeing. Chechnians opened fire and even pursued the children.

Rusians tried to protect the children.

Reports are now that some rebels hid as civians when all heck broke loose, others shot at the civilians. Some rebels are not holed up in other houses.

Released children drink water near a school in Beslan, Northern Ossetia, Russia Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, in this image taken from television. Many of the children were only partly clothed because of the stifling heat in the gymnasium where they had been held since the militants took the building Wednesday. Heavy firing broke out Friday at the school where hundreds of people were being held hostage by militants, after three powerful explosions hit the area and about 30 hostages fled. Russian helicopters circled the area and gunfire was heavy from both sides. (AP Photo/APTN)

Oh nooooo. New reports on Fox: They're saying a lot of little children who couldn't run were burned alive in the school. Bless their little hearts, their last hours were lived in utter terror, they were tortured, starved, and who knows what else--the people who did this are not human. They're monsters.

It's the US that have to make the step. These are Wahabists, OBL stuff - made in Saudi Arabia. The US has to wake up and stop supporting it. Most Muslims don't like that scum either. They bring misery wherever they go.

I pity Chechnya and its citizens

I don't. I hope they get a good dose of what they deserve. I'd post some ideas, but that would get me permanently banned.

Then you must be thinking of some of the same things I am. I'm starting to think mere atrocity is not enough for monsters who would do something like this.

Yeah, "rescued" is not the word at all . . . "All Hell broke loose and SOME hostages escaped but MANY were killed and maimed by the Islamic Terrorists (not "separatists" or "militants")" would be a bit more accurate. Bastards.

Just look at those pictures. Remind you of anything?

These people are nazis. Look at the way they revel in the dehumaization of these poor captives.

They seek to dehumanize, degrade, humiliate and exterminate.

Most Muslims don't like that scum either.

That right? Then why do they support it? Why do they finanace it? Why do they cheer it on? Or have you forgotten the celebrations they conducted when 911 occurred?

Nope, terrorism is as much a part of is-slime as is mecca.
