Thanks for the Chris Matthews review, I can no longer tolerate his stupid grin, spitting questions, or lame attempts at humor or wisdom.

LOL! Thanks! Those guys are cute. I love patriots! I am so proud to be a Republican led by President George W. Bush! I may not be allowed to say this here but I feel even closer to George W. than I did to Ronnie.

He was in NYC last night - don't know when/how many of the FL delegates will leave.

Thanks, Petronski, I love that sort of thing. Yes, I am very pedantic and can be a huge pain. Ask my girls.

Good summary. But my eyebrow was raised at how Simpson said his last bit: That the media WILL dig much further into and dissect how Kerry got his purple hearts, like peeling back an onion. Not that the media should, not that somebody would, but specifically that the MEDIA will do its job and really dig into this.

Matthews is such an idiot, especially when it comes to the military.
Last night Zell Miller paraphrased the oft quoted prayer by Father Denis Edward O'Brien USMC
"It is the soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier,
Who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag." _______________________________________
And David Gergen is being as condescending to Laura, as Chris was to Michelle. I LOVE how these idiots are exposing themselves.

***I saw that interview with Imus this morning. Made me wonder how much sleep Zell was able to get between straightening out Matthews late last night and the early appearance with I-man!***
As VP Cheney said last night right after Zell's speech, "I'm glad Zell Miller is on OUR side."

If it's done right, and I think W can pull it off, that would be really cool if was giving his speech walking around.
But I do realize the are possible downfalls.
To: cyncooper
I will. Did the FL delegates leave the convention early?

Is Chrissy's interview with Rudy live or taped? I hope he doesn't egg that mob on to heckle Rudy.

Matthews seemed quite taken aback at this concept and Simpson in his country way explains it was a quote from the WWII memorial. This stuns Chris who apologizes for "making fun of it". Simpson had chastised him for mocking it and tried to explain the idea (defense so we can exercise our freedoms). Chris apologizes twice in two nights?

HELP?!? HELP ?!?
All our local news channels are occupied with the hurricane Frances here in South Florida, including PBS' Jim Lehrer, which we have been watching the last three nights covering the convention in N.Y.
Now our local PBS channel 2 has locked in with our local channel 4 (CBS) and it's all the hurricane Florence coverage. We don't have cable!!
Can anyone of our Freepers computer gurus and friends tell us how to logon with our computers to get the convention coverage? Thank you!

I just caught the tail-end of Carl Cameron's report on Fox News. He's saying that Kerry is planning on fighting back against the speeches at the convention, and will specificially raise questions about Bush's National Guard service and Cheney's deferments. This is a riot, since neither of them has said anything detrimental about Kerry's service. He still doesn't get it.

You express my own sentiments exactly. I keep wondering what in their upbringing made them this way.
