Well, given I was only a child when Mr. Reagan was President and not interested in politics at that time, I don't have the same personal connection to Reagan that many here do. Though I did feel an enormous loss when he died, couldn't stop crying all week. I think that states volumes about the man that he could affect people who barely remembered him, if remembered him at all.
I do feel personally connected to G.W. I'm older and we've been through a lot with this man these past four years. he's like a member of my family.
Why sure you can! I know I feel closer to GWB. I wasn't tuned into politics very much during the 80's although I did vote for RWR both times.
