Kerry is just ticking off the talking points that his handlers gave him. This is wonderful to see.
President Bush did a masterful job of reminding everyone why he is likeable, and sKerry reminds us he is mean-spirited and petty in his lame, lame, lame jokes about the speech, AS WELL AS being completely without class on speaking during the other party's convention.
(Gee, when even your own running mate looks uncomfortable, probably you aren't hitting all the high notes you could be, lololololol!)
Well, on the bright side for Kerry, in between wiping his brow nervously every few seconds, MSNBC finally decided his boring rambling was ending any chance they have of improving their ratings during the rest of the campaign. They cut him off. In mid wipe. But not before he crammed a grenade into his mouth and had Edwards pull the pin.
Actually, I think that after all is said and done it was this portion of the speech that just may just tilt the election in his favor. Americans want a humble committed man to be their leader. They don't want a prima donna. They want someone that'll look 'em in the eye and tell it to 'em straight.
GW is comfortable in his own skin. He swaggers cuz he's a Texan. He's blunt because he takes after his mama. You gotta love a man that ain't afraid of who he is.
Too much makeup?
MSNBC now has Chrissie Matthews, Joe Scarborough, JC Watts, Andrea Mitchell, et al live in Herald Square...
CNN broke for a commercial, as did Fox... Right now, his rambling is being covered by no one...
...well, like somebody I'd want in my deer camp....you know what I mean
Kerry campaign introduces new "midnight when nobody is watching" campaign speech program.
Did you hear Kerry's "all hat and no cattle" line? Now he's trying to out-Texas GWB?!?!
I TRUST PRESIDENT BUSH.
Gotta go hug my kid now.
G'night all.

Kerry has decided to plow full ahead with lies. Thus the two tours of duty claim.
What, specifically, did you not like in the speech? Which programs? Which themes?
I thought it was fantastic, BTW, but since you didn't care for it, I'd like to know, again *specifically*, why.
No KIDDING...I have images of that podium mound and THE President versus Kerry looking like Lurch at a Midnight Wiccan party is striking to me.
I'm paraphrasing here - she was saying that Kerry shouldn't have gone out there with a rushed speech and it certainly shows. He should have never done this.
Even Chris Matthews said Kerry shouldn't have done this especially after what a great convention the Republicans had.
And conveniently forgetting his own running mate's (Backwards') deferments and complete lack of military service, you will note. . .
Yeah,Kerry sais that Bush "DID NOT SERVE." What was the National Guard duty...chopped liver?
My 16 y.o old daughter was watching Kerry's speech on TV upstairs, came out of the bedroom and yelled, "I hate John Kerry! he makes my skin crawl!, ARRGH". LOL!
She also said GWB is good looking and Kerry is ugly...hey, she's 16!
