U.S. President George W. Bush (news - web sites) salutes delegates at the final night of the 2004 Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden in New York, September 2, 2004. Last night, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) and convention keynote speaker Zell Miller, a Democratic senator from Georgia, questioned John Kerry (news - web sites)'s credentials to be commander in chief and his U.S. Senate record, with Cheney accusing Kerry of 'a habit of indecision.' I hope you are still watching . Balloon drop right on schedule.
Yes sir, right away sir, I cannot possibly exercise my right to free speech and make a comment that might not be dutifully compliant with the proper degree of blind fawning acceptance of all things Bush while YOU are in control of the forum!

Amen, my fellow Texan!
Someone tell don-o
Our balloons, confetti and streamers...even Peter Jennings (I'm surfing around getting a taste of punditry) noted how the demcon didn't have a good balloon drop but "here it worked".
Brit Hume talking about the part where Bush almost teared up...
glad you like our little dancing Pubbies! : )
He just urged Cheney's granddaughters to come out to the circle and the little one ran straight for the President. It's obvious that she knows him well and loves him.
GWB knocked it out of the park.
outstanding. great, great speech.
it would've been a perfect night except for those f**king loony commie protestors. But that aside, a great speech.
God Bless GWB.
Incredible. I've been watching them to gauge what the most negative reaction would be...
Good news.
WE GOT TO GET MORE COWBELL!
I can't seem to stop crying!!! I wish someone was here besides my puppies! I would just hugg them so hard1 Oh Lord, Bless him!!!
Earlier today, I saw on c-span the guy that did the balloons and confetti. The confetti is tiny photos of the cabinet and all the folks from the Whitehouse.
I though that was inovative.
Barney included!
More F'n COWBELL!!!!!! We need more cowbell!!!!
This is a moment to savor!
