Rudy--lower taxes for new york, wold give a better economy, tim-- shifts to gun control real quick.
Zell's using a great tag, "The Daschle Democrsts". He said the reason Saxby Chambliss beat Cleland is because he voted with "The Daschle Democrats".
Zel sets the record and Wallace straight on Cleland: Anybody who votes liberal as often as Cleland did won't be re-elected in Georgia.
Wallace: "Can you give us example of where the Democrats are right and the Republicans are wrong?"
Miller: "I can't right now...maybe a few years ago; but this Democratic Party has veered so far to the left, it's not recognizable."
Zell said he can't think of a single issue the dims are correct.
TaterTimmy is attacking Rudy by bringing up differences Rudy has with the republican platform. Rudy standing firm and stating where he agrees and where he does not. Gee, wonder if Tim will be this confrontational with the beast.
Thanks all for watching and posting...I have to pace myself this week or I'll stroke out..LOL
I found transcripts for "Meet the Press" on their home page.
Seemed like a very short segment on FNS with Zell. Could it be Wallace was disappointed he wasn't getting anything good for the Dems and decided to cut it short?
Rudy is kicking Russert's butt, I never realized how smart Julianni really is.
Gee, I wonder if Russert's going to be this hostile with Her Thighness...
Zel also said that he remembered a time when both parties had liberals, moderates, and conservatives. No more. Dem party so far to the left that Zel's conservative credentials and votes seem Republican. He said he's a dem and be one 'til the day he dies, but will vote for what he believes whether it's Rep. or Dem. A principled senator!
Potatohead says having Rudy and Arnold speaking at the Republican convention is "putting lipstick on the pig". Russert is a swine.
Russert calls the party platform a pig and having Rudy speak an attempt to put lipstick on it. (He was quoting the Log Cabin Republicans, I think.)
Rudy now pointing out that f'ing's 19 year record in the senate is never mentioned!
The lipstick was on that pig, Ron, Jr. IMO.
Zell did good.
Rudy saying that it is fine to honor Kerry for his achievements but we should not concentrate just on those four months of his life. (Oh so subtle dig. The sheeple won't get it.)
Rudy saying all 527s should stop including those who have accused the President of those things. Rudy saying maybe should have called for Michael Moore's movie not to be out since it was a use of propaganda. Saying 527s are an unintnended consequences. Rudy saying Kerry should join McCain and the President to stop the 527s doing this. He says 527s are dictating public policy.
