Frist is a multi millionaire thanks to HMO's. His only interest seems to be to increase his wealth and if it means lying down with her thighness well then so be it.
The number of combat deaths is in the 700s but the media is adding the accident death count to the number so the better to skewer the president.
Rush is out of town so he won't be kissing Russert's tush on this.
bump to post 189!
FR and the NEW media is keeping the Swiftie story alive. This is payback for the way Old Media handled the Abu Grahab scandal.
HMOs, IIRC, were the brilliant idea of Ted Kennedy way back when.
Senator Sr. Bloviator is now saying that they are not working. Of course, without saying who invented them in the first place.
These people do not understand the consequences of any action they take. (Either purposely or stupidly)
IDEAS -- never the follow through problems associated with them.
Needless to say the media never mentioned that he himself was responsible for that program.
The LSM wouldn't want to bring up that he was one of author's of the bill that he is now blasting.
That would be called honest reporting, something they don't want to be accused of. LOL
that's the truth!
If one thing was certain from the moment Hillary chose not to be Kerry's running mate (or that Kerry decided to shut her out -- I think it was the former, though), it was that the Clintons would do all they could to "help" John Kerry.
Starting with the Sandy Berger nonsense, the Clintons have continued to "help" Kerry. Given the fact that Hillary's worst political nightmare is for John Kerry to actually win without her on the ticket, too, this shouldn't surprise anyone.
Didn't watch this morning, but I would imagine that Hillary was in great form, but to her advantage, not Kerry's.
Good to hear they are stocking it...I'll have to ask at my local store. Thanks.
"Rush is out of town ..."
Should be back tomorrow.
Am anxious to hear Rush tomorrow....wonder if he will be on the floor of the convention.
..truer word were never spoken...@ least on this thread.
Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani (news - web sites) reacts as he is interviewed by moderator Tim Russert on NBC's 'Meet the Press' at Madison Square Garden in New York Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004. I missed the show this am but I would disagree with him as well. Not only did the 1st purple heart get cleared up this week with the conclusion that it was fraudulent (thanks to Adm. Schaecte) but also Lehman has mentioned he never issued that new citation/signed the paperwork for the silver star replacement. How are these facts lining up to support Kerry? I am assuming Brit's refering to the Bronze Star episode with enemy fire because Mark Simon from WABC mentioned on his show yesterday am that the paperwork supports Kerry. Problem is, all the official paperwork probably supports Kerry BECAUSE HE WROTE THE DAMN REPORTS.
I think Brit needs to be emailed that we respectfully disagree with his assesment of the controversy. Kerry needs to release all his records and answer some questions such as did he write the reports.
..not birth, fission w/ the Devil.
I wanted to say you articulated very well exactly why I disagreed with Brit.
When the Kerry Kamp is conceding the first purple heart just might have been due to an accidentally self-inflicted wound, vindication is not what it is called.
Throw in the fact that everybody concedes the Christmas in Cambodia story was false and I have to say it is the Swift Vets that are standing tall and looking righteous.
Someone who saw O'Neill on Politically Incorrect the other night said he was very compelling when he pointed out how the action reports focused on Kerry's boat and not the boat that had hit the mine. The poster said the audience seemed persuaded that was strong evidence that Kerry was the one writing up the report. I hadn't heard O'Neill put it quite that way but it is a very compelling point.
Since I missed the show and I am unaware of every detail besides what's mentioned in this thread, did the panel mention the first purple heart correction by the Adm. at all? It is quite significant and I can't imagine that they wouldn't discuss since a development.
I don't recall that brought up, BUT Brit did go on to say, as noted, that he did not think the Swift Vets were going away and he did think a chord had been struck and damage to Kerry done.
