Maybe you meant to direct your comments to COEXERJ145?

NJ_gent and I were having a running conversation. But you're right. My comment could just as easily have been directed at COEXERJ145.

I was just trying to think of a any other reason that two planes could go in simultaneously.

I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault, I swear to god!

Yeah that crap is weird at first.. hang on let me tighten up this tinfoil a bit. OK that's better. Normally I would say it's a hoax after the fact except the posts started 9 days ago and the "Operation Air Strike One" posts started 3 days a ago. I have seen a lot of weird stuff on usenet. Spammers, cryptograms and the like but nothing like that.

Looks like a bad attempt at "performance art" to me.

I absolutely loved Sterling's recent comment about "bug-eyed dummies." Sterling-isms can often be a joy to behold, LOL!

From his "Philosophy" page -

And initially, why a personal site? It is normal that people who trust me can know me and know to which they entrusts. It is a minimum the more so as I work with another experiment even more intimate.

A philosophy of life? it is a history which starts with my meeting of Dalaï LAMA in Huy in Belgium. It was right after a clinical heart failure 18 minutes caused by a bad proportioning of a medicamentous treatment. Then it y have the meeting with Swami Pranavananda in Lille at the beginning of 2004.

All these events made me discover a series of values on the life: anti-violence, the tolerance, listening, kindness, not to judge others. There is a supreme entity, but without explanations and human images of the life after death. It is necessary to accept interpretations of each one and each one some are its rites and its beliefs.

I study and I practise much the meditation. Here either, I do not have extraordinary receipts or revelations to propose. The techniques are multiple, the level reached is personal and the benefits are subjective.

Side religion, I met priests, rabins, imams and other "ministers officiating" anonymous but extraordinary of tolerance, without claim of conversions of flocks into evil of mystical explanations. Apart from the rites of their religion and by listening to these men, I realized that they spoke all about the same thing. At these practise, I alas also met the illuminated extremists and dangerous ones.

I deliver here the short speech of S.S. to you Dalaï LAMA, Nobel Prize of Peace 1989, with the O.N.G. conference of the United Nations on the Humans right: click here.

Question:

Which plane went down first?

The lead plane or the following plane?

Timeline?

Ingenious way for the Islamofascists to send a message to the rest of the world they are still alive and kicking.

1. Sink 2 airliners. No massive casualties. Airliners blowing up always gets everybody's attention. And only 100 or so casualties. Nobody is going to get all worked up 9-11 style over that.

2. Do it in Russia. Russia is in no position to strike, anybody, anywhere. They can't even submerge a two-bit state like Chechnya. Makes their adventure in Afghanistan compared to ours easier to understand. Ol' Joe Stalin must be rolling in his sarcophogus. True, Putin "gets it" more than most the Euro-weenies but he still cannot act.

I'm not sure but they may be grown up by now. I have a knot in my stomach thinking about what all this could mean, there are so many possibilities from George Soros,to AQ to the rebels. I never wear tinfoil hats but my stomach feels like tinfoil right now.

Russian Plane Crashes, Another Said Lost

By STEVE GUTTERMAN, Associated Press Writer

MOSCOW - A Russian airliner crashed south of Moscow, and controllers lost contact with a second passenger jet at about the same time after both took off from Moscow, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported Wednesday. There was no word on survivors.

Witnesses reported seeing an explosion before the plane crashed about 125 miles south of Moscow, and authorities were not ruling out terrorism, the agency said.

The Interfax news agency said emergency workers spotted a fire about 600 miles south of Moscow in the region where the second plane went missing.

President Vladimir Putin (news - web sites) has ordered the Federal Security Service to investigate, Russian news agencies reported. The service is the successor to the Soviet-era KGB.

A Tu-134 airliner that apparently had 42 people aboard crashed in the Tula region, 125 miles south of Moscow, at about 10:56 p.m. Tuesday, ITAR-Tass reported, citing the Emergency Situations Ministry.

Rescuers found the jet's tail near the village of Buchalki, Interfax reported.

A Tu-154 with 46 people aboard lost contact with flight officials at about the same time near Rostov-on-Don, about 600 miles south of Moscow, ITAR-Tass quoted Emergency Situations Ministry spokeswoman Marina Ryklina as saying. The jet belonged to the Russian airline Sibir, which said the plane disappeared from radar screens at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, Interfax reported. There were 38 passengers and a crew of eight aboard.

The Interfax news agency later said emergency workers were headed to the region to see if the fire was from a crash.

Earlier, ITAR-Tass reported that emergency officials said the second plane crashed.

Quoting an unnamed air traffic official in Moscow, where both planes originated, ITAR-Tass said authorities were not ruling out terrorism. The agency also reported that witnesses said they saw an explosion before the Tula region crash.

The plane that crashed near Tula was headed to the southern city of Volgograd, while the plane that disappeared was flying to the Black Sea resort city of Sochi, where President Vladimir Putin is vacationing, ITAR-Tass reported.

When Russia's U.N. Ambassador Andrey Denisov was told of the initial report of two near simultaneous crashes, he said, "Now we have to see if there's terrorism."

In Washington, a senior U.S. State Department official said, "We are obviously concerned by the news. We're following developments closely and trying to determine the facts."

The U.S. Homeland Security Department was monitoring the situation but was not implementing any additional security measures in the United States, spokesman Brian Roehrkasse said.

The crash comes only days before Sunday's presidential election in the breakaway republic of Chechnya (news - web sites). Pro-Russian President Akhmad Kadyrov was killed by a bombing in May.

A series of deadly explosions in recent years has claimed hundreds of lives in blasts that have been blamed mostly on Chechen separatist rebels.

A philosophy of life? it is a history which starts with my meeting of Dalaï LAMA in Huy in Belgium.

And I said, "Hey Lama! How about a little something, you know, for the effort?!?" And he replied, "My son, there will be no money. But when you die, you will achieve total ... consciousness." So I've got that going for me.

Ahhh... nice evaluation. I have been sitting here reading all of this with a nagging little thought of WHY? Not many people involved, no target that we are aware of, no bold statement... just 2 airliners leaving from the same airport and going missing withint minutes of each other.

You have thrown a little bit of light on the WHY of this.
