Just received in today's mail an invitation to a "Greater Kansas City Women for Kerry".
Date September 2, 2004, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (remarks at 6:30 p.m., presumably by the great man himself)to be held at The Carriage Club, 5301 State Line Road (between Ward Parkway and State Line), Kansas City, MO.
Warns me at the bottom "Reservations Limited!" Presumably to get my check in ASAP for $50.00
Hosts: Kathleen Aylward (live-in girl friend, if one considers 50's plus still a girl, of Randy Barnes Main Man with John Kerry in Anti-War Viet Nam Vets who has admitted that Kerry was in attendance of anti-war vet meeting when potential assasignations of elected officials and Nixson Adminstration members was discussed, which Kerry first denied being in attendance but FBI records his presence.)
Distinguished guests include: Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius (Dim), U.S. Rep. (about to be former Rep.) Karen McCarthy (Dim)and Mo State Senator Charles Wheeler (Dim.)
Protests anyone?
Do I have to wear a dress to protest this?

Wearing a dress is optional. A simple black dress is always appropriate. Oh, I forgot we are talking about Democrats.

I'll check it out further as some of the "host women for Kerry" are ladies that I am well acquainted with socially, in fact, they have used the Kansas City Art Institute (and it's president Kathleen Collins is listed as a co-host), and New Theater Guild (both noon-profit) mailing lists that I know of for sure since Kathleen Aylward just became a new member of the KCAI auxilliary "Fireside Committee."

I think that's a typo - they meant: "Come hear about Senator John Kerry's changing platform."

Yeah, it would be great if we could get some of the tipsy lady's former staff but that would be in the hundreds, most are fellow Dims anyway but the sight of a good drunken brawl, for which she is very famous, would be added attraction.
