Main excerpt: " However in the famous words of Al Jolson: You aint heard nothin yet. The Swiftees have prepared an October Surprise for Hanoi John that is going to blow his candidacy out of the water. I cant tell you what it is, but I can tell you the television and radio ads have already been taped, and they are going to have an impact like an elephant sitting on a donkey.
The Swiftees have three things in abundance: money, brains, and balls. They know exactly how to go for the jugular, they have the dough to do it, and they are saving their best shot for last. The Democrats will not know what hit them and will not know how to retaliate. Get set folks. The Kerry Train Wreck is not going to be a pretty sight. "

I'll agree with that. This type of action is what should have happened to Bill Clinton .. but nobody had the courage to take him on.
I'm glad to see the "greatest generation" has survived in the veterans of Vietnam. They truly are risking everything for America once again. God Bless them.
HOOOOOOOAH!
I can't wait...wonder what else they have on Hanoi John as the stuff so far is simply devastating...MUD
LOL great!
Thanks! Just warming up for WWF Cage Match 2004: Bush/Kerry Smackdown
From ABC's The Note
If John Kerry can't build a campaign organization that can de-fang 250 guys spending a million bucks, how good a president could he possibly be?
Great quote!
Brains and Balls, yes, but I don't think money is the SBV's strong point. Soros funds MoveOver.org to tune of millions. They have just a few hundred grand.
Fortunately, with the truth on their side AND their target reacting hysterically, their money has gone a long, long way!
The biggest problem that would present is one of logistics. Because of ballot deadlines that vary by state (and some states may have started mail-in voting already), we could very well have a scenario in which a hypothetical "Edwards-Hillary" ticket isn't even eligible to show up on many state ballots.
Now take this one step further. Even if they were able to get on enough state ballots that they could win 270 electoral votes, how many swing voters across this country are going to vote for a candidate that isn't on the ballot in a number of other states?
Not at all.
Gore lost the closest race in history in 2000, and in 2004 Joe Lieberman was barely beating Al Sharpton and Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic primaries.
:o)
:o)
voting starts in early September...they better get it out soon.
1/3 of votes will be cast absentee..and those start arriving in a couple weeks!
you can burn a DVD an mail it to everyone who donated to the Swiftees....
better yet, we can all have "viewing parties"
I wouldnt be surprised if the Clintons sent the swiftees some dough...
You are correct. There will be no Torricelli switch-er-ooo. The RATS are stuck with this dud.
Everybody can calm down on the swifties being able to air ads through election day. 527 or not, the swifties do not endorse any candidate and are therefore exempt from the entire campaign finance nonsense.
"CNN does a segment on Walter Reed wounded on a regular basis. I recently saw a report of a young female soldier, she had her right arm blown off, was undergoing therapy, and she talked to the camera, told how it happened, and she didn't know anything until she woke up at Walter Reed begging them not to cut off her arm. It was already gone. She talked about learning how to put on a bra, shampoo her hair, apply make up with just one arm. Heart wrenching stuff, I tell you"
I had to go back a ways to find it, so I appreciate you reading it even more. As the Mother of only daughters, and them being comparable age, I had a strong reaction to seeing the suffering this young woman has, and will endure, for the rest of his life. (My Dad lost his right hand when he was in his 40s, so I know of his struggles, re-learning the basics of life with just one hand.)
But beyond that, I think both sexes might enter the military at so young an age, they still feel that youthful invinciblity, they think they are immune from disasterous consequences.
I remember I made that particular comment, mentioning it was shown on CNN, because I feared that seeing women wounded, knowing young women were dying in combat, might turn voters against our endeavors in the war. And I wondered if CNN might not have considered that as well.
But if this war, and female casualties force the left to reconsider the wisdom of social engineering in the military, it's a good thing.
"The DEM hack had the "Oh crap" look"
Turnabout is fair play.
