Swifty October Surprise For Kerry
To The Point ^ | August 2004 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 08/22/2004 3:06:46 PM PDT by Presto

Main excerpt: " However… in the famous words of Al Jolson: “You ain’t heard nothin’ yet.” The Swiftees have prepared an October Surprise for Hanoi John that is going to blow his candidacy out of the water. I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you the television and radio ads have already been taped, and they are going to have an impact like an elephant sitting on a donkey.

The Swiftees have three things in abundance: money, brains, and balls. They know exactly how to go for the jugular, they have the dough to do it, and they are saving their best shot for last. The Democrats will not know what hit them and will not know how to retaliate. Get set folks. The Kerry Train Wreck is not going to be a pretty sight. "

>>it's not an ad it's a video on the internet.

Bingo. Anyone with a high-speed connection can watch. Anyone who knows what they're doing can download it, and then burn SVCDs that will play in most DVD players, and pass them out.

I certainly hope you didn't think it was anything but a way to allow the networks to control the election!

Of course I knew that.

What I didn't know was that it was possible that McKeating/Feingold might be able to shut the Swift Boat Vets for Truth down after September 2nd.

The reason I didn't know that was that it is not true.

I heard O'Neill on a local radio station and he was asked if the Swiftvets are a 527. He stated no they were not, something about small donors and can't remember what he termed them but not 527.

Sean has been hinting about something big, too.

I heard him say something about a November Bombshell or something of that sort. But then I wasn't listening that closely.

It was amazing what the truth about Max Cleland's war injuries did for his campaign two years ago...........

All I know is Cleland was run out of the Senate. Did the true nature of his (self inflicted) Vietnam injuries come to light? Anyways, I'm glad that self righteous snot got heaved.

That is the most important! Someone posted recently that the media attack on the Vets is nothing compared to what they experienced in Viet Nam. As long as we keep supporting them and let them know they are supported they won't return from this fight to the atmosphere they found on their return from Viet Nam. Kerry and his media minions picked the wrong fight with the wrong people.

If you are a true conservative, there should be a lot of things that Bush did that you should have a hard time with.

Don't forget the borders.I don't think Dubya is not an ultra right wing conservative like most FReepers. However, he is a good, honest, decent man who turned the economy around (despite 9-11) won two wars, cut taxes, signed the PBA ban, and restored decency to the White House in just 3 1/2 years. Not only does he have my vote, I registered 3 new GOP'ers and donated money (which I never did before).

Maybe some day another Reagan will emerge. Until then, we must keep out the Gores, Clintons, and Kerry's of this world.

The fact that it was a self inflicted injury reduced the sympathy vote and people just got fed up with his non support of issues that were important here.

how much of the money going to the Swifties is being steered their way by anonymous donors connected to the Clintons? Remember; not only must Kerry lose, but Edwards has to go down with him.

Bingo. Hillary must see Edwards eviscerated. If Kerry loses a close contest, Edwards will be the front runner in'08. Other than Bayh, no Dem is electable that I can think of.

Thanks much. I thought the true nature of Max Cleland's injuries was not known except on right wing websites. I'm glad the voters of Georgia were informed of this. This turd was in office for years starting with Secretary of State of Georgia.

Reading this article and thread brought me to tears. I've been reading and re-reading it and blubbering like a baby. My brother, Ray, fought in Vietnam. He was the bravest person I ever knew. I miss him every day of my life. He never spoke of his war experiences but I know he was conflicted. He did his duty but still had to endure the judgement of traiters like Kerry.

He's gone now, but he would have been thankful to the Swift Vets. I'm proud of every one of them. They are still fighting for our country. I don't have a lot of $$$, but I already bought their book and will make a donation in Ray's name. May God keep them safe and bless them with His love.
