how much of the money going to the Swifties is being steered their way by anonymous donors connected to the Clintons? Remember; not only must Kerry lose, but Edwards has to go down with him.Bingo. Hillary must see Edwards eviscerated. If Kerry loses a close contest, Edwards will be the front runner in'08. Other than Bayh, no Dem is electable that I can think of.

Gore lost the closest race in history in 2000, and in 2004 Joe Lieberman was barely beating Al Sharpton and Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic primaries.
