this ad has been on Crossfire, CNN, Foxnews, and probably MSNBC today. The Swift Boat vets are pretty much THE lead political story!
this as is getting so much free media coverage right now. It is completely throwing the Kerry campaing off course. On Monday it's running in PA, NM, and NV. But it will get so much free media. It's all over talk radio, cable news, etc. And the book is set to debut at No. 3 on the NYTimes best seller list. As they say in the media, this thing has legs.
I called the Kerry campaing and told them to broaden their attack on John McCain since he's obviously behind the ad:)
Here's my idea for an ad:
Just show them, one by one speaking to the camera, and have each one of them say:
"My name is XXX, and I served in John Kerry's unit in Vietnam. I have signed a Form 180 releasing all my military records to the media."
After about 10-15 of them, show a picture of John Kerry, and say, "John Kerry will NOT sign a form 180 to release all his miliary records. Why is he hiding his them?"
on Monday it will run in PA, NM, and NV. but the real deal is all the free media.
Do you think it's too late for Edwards and Kerry to switch places? Scarey thought.

This ad is totally devastating to the Dims and libs. Tonight, I want to see the crestfallen countenances, the panicky gestures, the quivering voices, the bassett hound faces and the flying spittle of all the TV media whores who thought the Swifties would fold up under their withering fire.

But, even better, when the Vets appear on TV they could tsk tsk and say it's shame the media dropped the ball and left it up to the Vets to ask Kerry about his unreleased records.

I received a heads-up that MSNBC has film crews out tomorrow night - football games and perhaps some baseball games. Think they might ask about Unfit for Demand?
Remember a former Clintonite is running MSNBC.
Easy to see how they had the cojones... most of 'em aren't Republicans.
I don't see how Kerry can even hope to survive this one, and the kicker is that this is maybe #8 on the Top 10 list of things that are devastating for Kerry, and all the ones above it on the list haven't even been put on the air yet.
