Did anyone catch the Kerry analogy quote on radio about turning his boat away from or toward the enemy? It sounded like he was trying to justify fleeing in Vietnam while making it sound heroic now that he's challenging Bush to bring it on.

Kind of flip-floppy.

there's also the reckless charging of the beach, the beaching of his boat, incident.I haven't received my copy of Unfit yet, but my impression is that other boats had already beached and the wounded teenager was running away before kerry hit the shore. Not incompatible with returning to Swiftboat 3 after he was sure it was safe.
Somebody please correct me if I have these facts wrong.

Has Hannity said whether he's actually read the book. The conservative talk show hosts MUST READ UNFIT FOR COMMAND before doing interviews because the Kerry spin machine (and I'm including the New York Times here) keeps making claims about what's in the book that simply are not true.
