Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned. |

Philadelphia, PA August 18, 2004 A situation continues to unfold in south Philadelphia. Police pulled over a rental truck, concerned the driver was acting suspicious.
Authorities took no chances, and they took all the precautions, summoning Haz-Mat teams, the Bomb Squad, and closing down a part of Broad Street around the sports complex. It happened in the area around south Broad Street where it approaches I-95 near all the sports stadiums.
Things were at a standstill this morning, but Broad Street is now open again. The exit ramps off i-95 are open again and things are get back to normal in South Philadelphia after some very tense moments this morning.
It all started when the driver of the rental truck pulled into a gas station in Penn Salem and asked the attendant for directions to the Philadelphia International Airport.
Official: "The civilian picked up what he felt was suspicious, alerted the local police who alerted the State Police who alerted our expressway teams on I-95."
It was highway patrol officer Thomas Frazier who made the stop. Officer Thomas Frazier: "When I approached the vehicle, he seemed a little nervous. At which time I got his license and registration."
The driver handed over a New York State commercial driver's license with the name on it. It turns out he had been an illegal alien and he was arrested.
He had invoices for the chemicals in the truck, but the police weren't taking any chances. They isolated the truck on Broad Street near the Wachovia Center. Employees of a sports complex were moved to the other side of the building.
The Bomb Squad came in and set off a remote controlled charge to disable any explosives that might have been on the truck. After it all cleared, they found the truck was loaded with boxes of a corrosive chlorine. They were not secured and could have caused a hazard if they had shifted and ruptured. Members of a joint terrorism task force were called in. Even though it turned out to be not terror-related, it was a useful, real world training exercise.
Official: "This material wasn't of a extremely hazardous nature, it shows how ready this department is to respond to any type of situation that might confront us in the future."
It may have turned out to be nothing, but this scenario is exactly what Homeland Security has been urging all of America to be prepared for and an alert citizen notified the police. The police notified all of the other agencies, F.B.I., Joint Terrorism Task Force, Haz-Mat, and the Bomb Squad.
They all responded in an appropriate and prompt manner and managed to get this truck off the highway before it got to Philadelphia International Airport. Obviously it turned out to be nothing more serious than some corrosive materials on the truck.
But it all worked out according to the scenario that Homeland Security is hoping for. Copyright Action News, 2004.
Ahhhhh....great observation....my critical thinking is on the blink!!
My thoughts as well, although I hate to even verbalize those feelings. A calm before the storm kind of feeling.
Although, mid to late August people are still on vacation, or getting their families ready for back to school.....memorize and repeat from now until Sept. or until this disquieting feeling goes away.
If he doesn't speak english, how'd he ask for directions to the airport?

There are more translations.
Should I post them, or do we not want them here?
Some are quite long and I don't want to take up bandwidth if y'all would rather not see them.
Vel
I would love to see more of the translations. I could be in the minority on this so if others don't want them here, could you freepmail them to me?
Thank you : )
Agreed. Please post them.
I'm off to have more sinus surgery this afternoon. Will enjoy wading through them when I get back online (maybe tomorrow).
Everyone stay safe and be vigilant.
What does this phrase mean?
>>And no its crow, Ibn Ladn has favoured <<
The phrase, and no its crow, appears twice. The wording of the translations tends to throw me at times, but I don't understand this crow reference at all.
Prayers will be with you for your surgery!
Thanks Velveeta, would love to see more.
is wx Weather Matrix? Add me to your ping list.
Do you have a link to this specific post? Is the original Arabic with the translation?
wx is just short for "weather." My screen name here is an old IRC nickname for weather chatrooms. nw = Northwest, ct = Connecticut, wx = weather. nwctwx = Northwest Connecticut Weather. ;-)
I will add you to the new list.
Good luck with your surgery, I see that you have your priorities straight....
#1 Sinus Surgery.....#2 Get back to TM....
Velveeta....please post additional translations. It's not likely that we will see this information anywhere else!

"Indiana Airport Shut as Bag Leaks Sickening Liquid"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Wed Aug 18, 2004 12:01 PM ETCHICAGO (Reuters) - Authorities shut the Fort Wayne, Indiana, airport on Wednesday after at least three airline employees were sickened by liquid that leaked from a broken container in a piece of unclaimed luggage."

KS....to me the "it's no crow" may mean that it is not a fable. Maybe that the statement that follows is the truth and not something that is made-up.
I need to do a little research, but maybe with the machine translations it finds a word that the closest match is the word crow. There may be a word or term in Arabic that means crow or bird. Or crow may have a meaning in the Quaran.
