The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned.

Not showing the Americans all the WTC gore is the only way the US media failed them last time.

More important to show underwear on the head of a prisoner.

Police are now questioning the driver but he does not speak English.

Lemme guess. He's a blonde, blue-eyed Swede, right?

Isn't this the second leaky-chemical-to-make-perfume incident in recent weeks?

Suspicious Package Empties Capitol Area in Dover (Delaware - 8/18/04 Updated Info.)

By MIKE CHALMERS and KRISTIAN POPE Staff reporters 8/18/2004

DOVER — Police cordoned off a four-square-block area around the state capitol complex and evacuated workers and residents this morning because authorities found a suspicious package at the Delaware Federal Credit Union nearby.

Delaware State Police bomb technicians arrived at the scene about 9:45 a.m.

Dover police said a credit union employee reported a suspicious package about 7:20 a.m. Police arrived to find a shoebox-sized package wrapped in brown paper on the front steps of the Water Street building.

The package has some type of label, possibly an invoice label, that is visible, police said. No mailing address or return address was visible, but may be underneath. Officers did not move the package and called the state police bomb squad.

Geraldine Howard, who works at the law firm of Brown Shiels Beauregard and Chasanov on Water Street, said police had already blocked Legislative and Court streets when she arrived for work at 8 a.m.

About 45 minutes later, police told the 10 people in her office to leave and wait in the parking lot behind the building. About 9:30 a.m., police returned and told them to go to Federal Street, about two blocks away.

Remember that satellite that was launched by Iran several months ago. It was said to be a communications sat (I think). I wonder what was really in its payload. This seems to me to be reason to work with AQ.

LOL......How exactly does someone who "does not speak English" rent a truck????!!!!!

Do the truck/car rental companies have a clue about the fact that we now have an elevated terrorism status? Rental companies should have some detailed info. on those who are renting their vehicles....considering the info. that is necessary these days just to rent a movie!!!!!

Why make the assumption that he rented the truck?

Mossad,

Where are we at with the threat scenario? Are you hearing anything new? It feels like the warnings have disappeared from the radar...

No kidding.....after all I am about 2,000+ posts behind, with no hope of ever catching-up. But to see the TM so slow and without the usual posters is very odd....

Iran is absolutely tied in with Al Qaeda. There's no doubt in my mind. They have the common goal of destroying Western civilization. Every day is one day closer to fulfilling their prophecy of our demise.

Point to truck and present plenty of green paper which bears Andrew Jackson's pic.

As an aside, my folks came here from Hungary in 1956...learned the english language and became citizens. I recall a few times, my mother (the leadfoot) being stopped for speeding. For some reason, the traffic stop caused her to forget her command of the english language!

I think the same thing applies here. ;-)

Because, unlike El Al we don't match luggage to passengers.

I boarded a THY flight from Izmir, Turkey to Istanbul in 1992. They place your luggage on the tarmac between the gate and the ladder. You must ID your bags and board the aircraft to have them placed on the plane. Any unclaimed bags stay on the tarmac.

The technique works fine for people who aren't committed suicide bombers.

I guess what I am saying, is it possible he stole the truck, or maybe he had someone rent it for him?

I'm actually getting work done and even got to bed early the past few nights. The silence is deafening...and not comforting.
