Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned. |

The second to last paragraph of this article says VOLUMES. but the entire article is revealing of contributory factors as to why we have sleeper cell members running amuck in America.
We were following the story of the missing Purdue student. I believe he was found in NY. I'll check for a link...
Could be.
How did things turn our for your coworker, Vicki?

Simple. Just look at pro 2nd Amendment letters to the Editor. Then at the following lists: Holders of CCW permits; former military personnel (especially officers); NRA membership lists; subscribers to pro-gun or conservative publications; and that's just a start. Since I qualify in all of the above categories, I figure I'm #1 on the list! There is an EXCELLENT book that covers all of this: Hope of the Wicked by Ted Flynn. I think you can get it from amazon.com. It's a huge book but reads like a novel. Very well organized.
Once Earl makes it into the same area Charley was, historical maps look like this:
One model last week initialized Charley wrong (didn't read the trough strength right) and put it off the TX coast as a Category 4/5 storm (Click Here for Image). That forecast was based mostly off storm speed and water temperatures (which will both be similar for Earl). If windshear is light (it looks like it will be) and Earl can slow down from it's current speedy track, he will certainly be one to watch carefully.
So, assuming that no major frontal system works into the Gulf (it does not appear likely). Charley will likely enter the south central GOM by late Thursday or Friday. It should be a category 1 or 2 at that time and will have a big pool of quite warm water ahead of it. Hurricanes often do weird things around the Yucatan Peninsula so it is difficult to say what the real world consequences in the US will be.
The model that did the best with Charley takes Earl to the Yucatan Peninsula in 5 days, it extrapolates into the central GOM by day 6.

Danielle looks quite beautiful this afternoon but will affect no one:
I think you might be right. Our paper had an article today that it isn't too likely Austin would get severe damage from a hurricane, but we could use some rain.
Here's that Purdue student article:

That's a great plan. My hubby has Scotch blood, and we won't even go there about money issues. He doesn, however, put Scrooge McDuck to shame. Most importantly, the only issue we won't give in on is our faith in God. It will remain solid no matter what. Having a good sense of humor helps too. Congrats on your upcoming wedding anniversary. I'm proud of both of you - way too many choose to give up rather than fight to keep it together. May God keep you together in good health and happiness for the rest of your lives and many many years to come.
Interesting read, thanks. We don't need to be taxed by another large hurricane. The jihadis might start getting ideas about sending us to those camps.
The waves over Africa are still quite organized. One is coming off now to the right of Danielle. For something to make it across the Atlantic is typically needs to come off Africa at 5-15 degrees North Latitude. The wave coming off now is right at 10 degrees North, so it will have a chance.
That's at least 10-14 days away from getting close to any US landmass though.
Some day, when it's far too late, we may do the same.

US carrier rescues six Iranian sailors in Arabian Gulf waters
(AFP) 15 August 2004
MANAMA - The US aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy rescued six Iranian sailors after their cargo vessel started taking on water in the Arabian Gulf, the US Navy's Fifth Fleet said Sunday.
After a distress signal was received, Kennedy dispatched two H-60 helicopters from (squadron) HS-15 to the scene early Saturday morning, said a statement.
Aircraft ... monitored the dhow and coordinated helicopter rescue operations, it said, adding that all crew members were rescued from the Iranian-flagged Naji dhow and later treated on the carrier.
The Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet is working to repatriate the six Iranians as soon as possible, the statement said.
The United States and Iran have no diplomatic relations.

Two of these are utterly fascinating links, great job!
On men-
I was writing and researching a book about 20 yrs ago .I titled it "Pieces" due to the fact men/women were so different, how do the piece 'fit' or do they? Interviewed a dozen of each species, belonged to the writer's guild at the time and also went through them. My writing style was not popular for it shot straight from the hip and many found that offensive and unacceptable.
ie: my query on PMS making a woman wanting to diswembowel her pet {Well, that gives you the idea}
In Pieces I strived hard to be objective and fair to males but my synopsis was in the end "Men are from Mars" simply because the do not get their period every month and it backs up with no release for all the bad. {No offense guys but you do 'eternally' PMS LOL
Of course he didn't, probably even why they released him! What buffons they are!!!
