Again, I don't think this is a good way to attack Kerry. Along with the SB vet kickoff last week, there came a good deal of bad press the SB vets got in the latter half of the week. Its coming down to a "he said-I said" contest. Kerry has his group of vets, the SB vets have theirs. The public is left to decide who to believe. Part of their decision involves why would one or the other lie. Kerry ends up being the martyr since he's being attacked rather harshly. You never ever make your political opponent a martyr and give them the sympathy vote.
The SB vets may feel good, but I think its the wrong way to go about this.
JMHO.
Phil is very talented with his on target graphic arts and a few on target words.
Hanoi John might have heard of the Army LCU 1577 with 11 crewmen that was interned by Cambodia on or about 17 July 1968 and just appropriated the story - with a lot of changes - into his own version of his heroic persona.
Too bad for Kerry that Pelicano (an LA PI who reportedly did a lot of the Clintons' dirty work, like killing Kathleen Willey's cat) isn't available, thanks to prosecution he is facing in LA.
In Kerry's case there doesn't seem to be Zip between "H"ero and "Z"ero.
I think a huge book needs to be made to record all the Kerry tales.
Because taking shots at a man or those who served with him in Vietnam is not received well by voters.
Why would he lie about something that could be investigated prove him to be a liar? (I'm not saying he isnt a liar,Im just puzzled)
Because he reasonably believes the events won't be objectively investigated, or even if they are, won't be objectively reported to the extent it would affect a politcal race.
Also, because he has done this before, and gotten away with it.
John Kerry on Defense
Kerry's voting record:
He voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
He voted to kill the M-1 Abrams Tank.
He voted to kill every aircraft carrier laid down from 1988.
He voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system.
He voted to Kill the F-15 Strike Eagle.
He voted to Kill the Block 60 F-16.
He voted to Kill the P-3 Orion upgrade.
He voted to Kill the B-1.
He voted to Kill the B-2.
He voted to Kill the Patriot Anti Missile System.
He voted to Kill the FA-18.
He voted to Kill the B-2.
He voted to Kill the F117.
In short, he voted to kill every military appropriation for the development and deployment of every weapons systems since 1988 to include the battle armor for our troops.
With Kerry as president our Army will be made up of naked men running around with sticks and clubs.
He also voted to kill all anti terrorism activities of every agency of the U.S. Government and to cut the funding of the FBI by 60%, to cut the funding for the CIA by 80%, and cut the funding for the NSA by 80%.
But then he voted to increase OUR funding for U.N. operations by 800%!
Is THIS a President YOU want?
Yes, I noticed that. Amazon was in error. Michael Kranish is the author of many Kerry's New Clothes type spin.
In the meantime we can support these brave men by contributing to keep their ads on tv.
I finally found the page to donate to these gentlemen.
$100 via my credit card is in their account now.
Here is the link to donate:

We need to share some of our treasure that God has loaned to us.
Thanks for the ping.
LOL! I knew you were being sarcastic.
It doesn't matter what his ethnicity is or his real name. What does matter is who the real sKerry is. It seems that Michael Kranish and Hollywood have been assisting in the construction of the real sKerry.
Hermann the Cherusker drew attention to a 1997 movie 'The MatchMaker' starring sKerry supporter Janeane Garafalo. The Kranish historic contribution was in 2003 ('Irish-American' Kerry's Jewish roots revealed).
The movie Casualties of War (1989) starring Michael J. Fox is the one to which wai-ming referred in post #296. I don't remember it, so will rent it soon to refresh.
Kerry's reenactment of wartime events for filming purposes reveals that he has been staging for a very long time. A big question is why didn't he capture on film the 'atrocities' to which he testified?
I am concerned that Kerry opposition has been intentionally led down the Vietnam path. It indicates to me a diversion from something even more damning.
But, I do think that if John Kerry is going to base his qualifications on his stint in Vietnam, then it should be brought to the light...
The rule of never attacking combat duty is one that should not be adhered to. If I can never examine the combat record of any body who served, then what prevents a person from basing future actions on the past (a past that is a lie but can't be examined because it's against the rules.) That's a silly premise and gives Kerry a highground he does not deserve.
I hope some local newsman in a town Kerry is visiting will have the guts to ask him if he spent Christmas 1968 in Cambodia. I don't think any national newperson has the b@lls.
Nope. You can count me in your corner.
