Extra Billy's rocks...miss it as I'm in Colorado now. Can't find that style of cooking anywhere here.

Having sampled both I can NC/VA BBQ is the best. They've never heard of the word minced in Texas.

Dude I can't believe you posted that recipe. It's awesome! I spent last summer in Chicago. Combo extra dipped with motz and red sauce.

The Ridgewood, Elizabethton TN
Although there many good and mediocre BBQ places in East Tennessee, the best is without question the Ridgewood out the road a piece from Elizabethton Tennessee.
I've eaten BBQ all over the country, even in Indianapolis and of course in Houston where the brisket is fantastic, but the pink Ridgewood pork is absolutely the best.

"Shorty's BBQ, South Dixie Highway, Miami, Fla."I'm prepared to believe that. Having determined that the absolute worst BBQ is in Seattle, it makes sense that the best would be at the exact opposite corner of the country.

Kerry would have about 3 minutes before he had to wipe his chin if the sauce stared dripping.........(tacky).....

In twenty years, I've never found barbeque to match Dale's BBQ in Fort Pierce, Florida.I will second that!!
I'm a big 4 miles away and if the wind is just right I can smell 'em!!!

August 14, 2004 - FESTIVAL - Amarillo: Polk Street Block Party. While there are B-B-Q contests at nearly every event in Texas, this is one that should be mentioned. If the atmosphere alone doesn't work up an appetite..well rewarded...then just take your grandchildren and enjoy the carnage...hmm hmm good.
P. S. If you have room for a little dessert then the local ice creams make Ben & Jerry's seem like plastic.

I have never been there but see it when I am driving down the freeway sometimes... how does it compare to Drexlers? Drexlers is more hype than BBQ though their sausage is better than Goode Companies. I judge a place on their ribs and sausage and Goode Co. just doesn't seem to use the right sausage.
