“Had I been reading to children and had my top aide whisper in my ear that America is under attack, I would have told those kids very nicely and politely that the president of the United States has something that he needs to attend to,” Kerry said.

I can't believe Kerry went "there"!

One of the visuals etched forever in my mind from that day was the look in GWB's eyes when he got the news.

I remembered that look each day until he started to bomb Afghanistan... and when he started the war again, in Iraq.

It was one of the things that allowed me to have a tiny bit of patience for the response I wanted my country to give to the terrorists throughout the world, and it cemented my esteem for the POTUS.

Kerry screwed the pooch on this one.But what else is new?

I think that your supposition is more accurate than bloviating Kerry's is.

The REAL John F'n Kerry is still alive and well I see.

Must have been addressing the Moore/Dean wing of the RAT party.

And to think there are people who SERIOUSLY think this joke in an Armani suit will get elected?

The dims can use 911 against Bush, but Bush dare not use it in his campaign ads. The left are fascists.

A despicable example of Mr. Perfect, the woulda, coulda, shoulda candidate just latching on to another Michael Moore criticism. He NEVER has an original thought in his 6'4" body.

I am embarassed that the dem party could not have provided a decent man as an opponent to GWB. First, algore; now, Kerry. True, they have a short bench from which to choose, but these unworthies are unthinkables running for the office of leader of the most powerful country in the world..

One thing that sticks in my mind as 9/11 unfolded..............Our country is under attack and we are now at War.

I also remember what I was doing when Pres. Bush was standing on that pile of rubble at Ground Zero with that megaphone. I was loading .45cal's into magazines.

Your own, or are you in the service? BTW, I still have the TIME cover dated 9/24/01 on my cubicle wall at work. Put it up there the day that issue hit the stands and have not taken it down. That's the one of President Bush standing on that pile of rubble holding a small American flag high in one hand and the bullhorn in the other.

Our present duty assignment in this war is to make sure our Commander-in-Chief is reelected. We can't let that cretin, John Kerry, get within 1000 yards of the White House. Not if we want to survive.

On my own, I'm one of those pro-gun wackos,as the left would say, that actually understands that Militia means every citizen.

After all it would have been pretty hard on Dec. 15th 1791 to call a Militia part of the Military due to the fact that the Militia act wasn't past until May 2, 1792

Kerry's comments make it seem as if he is trying to convey that both Bush and Cheney are ineffective (typical leftist thinking). It is common knowledge that when the President is out of the White House, the Vice President is in charge of affairs.

Cheney has long said that he advised Bush not to come into Washington right away, because this country was under attack.

Obviously Kerry was out of town on 9/11 or has selective amnesia, because Cheney was in contact with the President, telling Bush to find some place to land outside of Washington because AF-1 was thought to be a prime target. Cheney was also meeting with Congressional members in person and on the phone as well, getting everyone coordinated and up to speed.

I know this, because Cheney has retold this story numerous times in the days following 9/11. It's absolutely horrendous what the left will say just to gain power.

Micheal Moore was called "the unofficial leader of the DNC" by Rush Limbaugh.
