I missed the event due to a family orange alert.
A similar incident happened only it was a bunch of Bush supporter youngins' giving the -inger to a VW with a peace sign and a bumper sticker, "Bush Lied". Even though we wouldn't condone that kind of behavior by our children, I must confess we were somewhat amuzed. Emotions are bound to elevate between now and the election. You did the right thing by not letting the guy know it got to you. ( I hear in some places you best not have any Bush stickers if you want to keep your windows intact...sad times ) and remember the New Left has taken liberal to new lows.
Unbelievable! I would have been furious. I live in Ventura County, and my SUV has both "W 04" and "Bush - Leadership Integrity Morality" stickers taped inside the back window. A few days ago, I found a packet of letter-size paper under the windshield wiper. There was a cover letter specially printed from "a fellow Texan" (my car has a Native Texan license plate frame - but I question that person's Texas credentials). The frantic letter, unsigned, BEGGED me not to vote for GWB. "PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!!" it read, and there was a pile of anti-Bush garbage attached to it. I'll always be curious who it was, though. I was sorry to have missed the big event on the 1st (I was in Fresno, of all places)- hope the rest of your day went well.
Take exception to the above statement.
It should read. . .MOST of them are truly disgusting human beings.
That said, you are a brave Freeper and a great American!
when you say you saluted, do you mean a one fingered salute, or a salute?
A regular salute would have those folks all wondering about their actions
They've embraced whoppi's views of life.
Doug...
You're right about Leftists and bumper stickers..
They believe only THEY have the right to display their "message" on cars...
I had a gentleman in Israel mail me about a dozen "CNN LIES" bumper stickers which he produced after catching CNN in broadcasting LIES about events between the IDF and Pali cockroach lunatics...
I promply applied them to the rear windows of all the family cars and a neighbor requested some for his..
My wife and I were leaving a restaurant one evening, and caught a trophy version of a leftist moron (the type with pins in the eyebrow and multiple rings in the ears and nose and a huge pin through his damned tonge) attempting to peel my CNN LIES sticker off the rear window...
Even though I'm a old fart -- I still stand a straight 6'2" and carry 240 pounds of angry ass kicking mass.
I shouted across the parking lot - *&%^*%)(*&(^*&^&& you better pray that sticker is undamaged or I'm going to kick it about two feet up your A$$.
The stupid bastard took off running in such a panic, he ran directly into the phone booth that was next to my car on the side opposite of my approach -- he hit it so hard, he bounced off and fell the ground obviously more dazed than normal..
He started crying and begging "Don't harm me"...."HARM"...
What the hell kind of a word is that for a brave sticker stealing Nazi to use....
The downside of the story -- is my sainted wife blamed ME for causing the idiot to hurt himself...
"You shouldn't always be trying to start trouble with people"....
Wives....you figure them out and let me know..
Semper Fi
I hate to say it, but there are idiots on all sides. A family friend of mine had her Kerry bumper sticker defaced with a blade, scratching the car's paint job.
Let's not pretend that our opponents are the only ones who forget civility in a political season.
That's a good idea with the magnetic stickers. I put my Bush-Cheney 04 sticker on two weeks ago, and am crossing my fingers. I haven't been keyed yet, but I live in Austin, the liberal bastion of anti-Americanism in an otherwise conservative state.
The good news though, is that I have definitely noticed more and more pro-Bush stickers lately. Too bad this isn't Ohio or a swing state.
The majority are imbeciles and the ones doing their thinking for them are socialists (communists).
Everyone of our cars have been attacked by (presumably) leftists.
New bumper sticker: "Democrats Raise Rotten Kids"
This is just another example of why the the left is commonly referred to as the "vulgar left".
Was he pulling his house behind him?
bttt
Some Dim group here in Arizona came up with one that said simply BEAT BUSH. They were quite popular with the high school students -- after they cut off the first B.
I followed this guy out to the Waste Management transfer
station. He was driving a junky, tan Ranger. Obviously a
younger version of a '60s throwback wannabe judging by the
left-wing bumper stickers covering his tailgate. The one
that stood out was 'F*** Bush'.
The dump is eight miles out of town so I had time to stew.
At the dump I resolved to give this guy a dose of conserva-
tive road justice. Hurriedly, I emptied my garbage and head-
ed for the exit. There I waited until I could see 'jingo
boy' in my rear view mirror. Finally, there he was. I pulled
out ahead of him on the two lane road and proceeded at the
safe speed of 28 mph, giving him enough time to reflect
on my 'Bush/Cheney '04' bumper sticker.
About two months later I saw this same guy at the transfer
station..............did it to him again. If anyone needs
junk hauled to the dump then let me know. I'm shooting for
a hat trick.
These liberals need to pursue a more sensitive definition of tolerance.
