The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

My first thought was white supremacists but now I'm wondering just a dry run or did they have to ditch it. High crime area, not far from where the Sox play, very close! I'm thinking someone was paid to deliver, or who knows how many things may have gone wrong...

A storm complex like the one that moved through Chicago can have devastating effects, similar to a hurricane. It was a big-time 'bow-echo' before it got to Chicago. The weather has been acting oddly throughout the northern states this summer. Looks like a possible tornado outbreak or major wind event in the ohio valley tomorrow.

You went through Andrew? That must have been very intense, the eye wall was basically a 40 mile wide F3/F4 tornado. The US has been getting off lucky the past several years in regards to big canes (cat 4 or 5), the strongest have been hitting unpopulated areas. Alex whipped itself up quite fast last night, looks like we may have a very active August/September.

The major hazzard for hurricanes besides the tornado factor is the flooding from the storm tides which can sweep whole coastal homes away and the other flooding that comes from torrential downpours. Then there is a disease factor when the sewage systems back up and the water stops flowing.

Thankfully, Andrew was a rare dry and very fast moving storm system. I was in the national guard then and the scary part was after the storm. Most of which never came to public light.

Hmmm, keep me updated please. I want to know what was in the suitcase, what it looked like (I heard bottle and wires earlier). I wonder if this was just a test. All the interesting (odd) stories are happening at night when no one is covering anything. Then they get stifled and we never hear anything of it again
