The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

BTW, this "new" televised appearance mentioned in the Sudan message I posted last evening from It's Happening.com could end up being "new" or simply a "reworked" tape using old video footage. It might even up up being an audio for all we know.

Attitude has become unstable. Pleasant turned to distant, which when speaking to them in private has become downright anger, complete with violent cursing [in the restroom, etc one on one] at the people [Americans] who call...lots of released anger directed specifically at "the people." And very uncharacteristic from folks I've never heard utter one mean word before now.

There was a message last November or so about the next grand-scale al qaeda attack being televised to the world so no one would miss it. al qaeda would never want that, now would they? They are so unbelievably evil.

I told the Hitchen's account to some people and some were visibly perturbed and vocally angry. Not at the truth of Hitchen's words, mind you. I upset them by telling them what Hitchens said. The truth is uncomfortable to some people who prefer not to know because they feel there is nothing they can do about it and remaining out of "the know" is how they best handle it. God Bless their hearts just the same; they are just as right. Sometimes I wish I were that way too.

How can botulism be treated?

The respiratory failure and paralysis that occur with severe botulism may require a patient to be on a breathing machine (ventilator) for weeks, plus intensive medical and nursing care. After several weeks, the paralysis slowly improves. If diagnosed early, foodborne and wound botulism can be treated with an antitoxin which blocks the action of toxin circulating in the blood. This can prevent patients from worsening, but recovery still takes many weeks. Physicians may try to remove contaminated food still in the gut by inducing vomiting or by using enemas. Wounds should be treated, usually surgically, to remove the source of the toxin-producing bacteria. Good supportive care in a hospital is the mainstay of therapy for all forms of botulism. Currently, antitoxin is not routinely given for treatment of infant botulism.
