It's close to 5am on the east coast 2am out west. Why are you up?
What's The Butterfly Effect?
Sorry...we're kind of out of the loop on a lot of things here. LOL
Are you still up ,post me now.
It's only 9:05 p.m. in Hawaii.
Are you sure it is the same day?
LOL, after posting I realized the original was yesterday. Duh. Still - it is past 3 a.m. Eastern now.
If you have nothing else to do, it is a good place to hang out. I've spent many late nights around here.
BTW, see you're in Virginia - we were going to make that our home at one time. We were about 15 miles outside Charlottesville for 6 years in the late 70s/early 80s. Gorgeous place, didn't work out financially. Fortunately, looks like we'll be able to stay in Hawaii when my husband finishes up his 20 with Uncle Sam next year. It's even nicer here.
I took a nap this afternoon and now I am not tired.
I envy you living out there. I stayed at the Ritz Carlton, on the big island, in the early 90's for a convention and loved the weather. You probably get the same weather all year too!
I would visit again but I hate to fly. Its about 12 hours in the air, as I recall.
I got a callout on one of our computer systems and am waiting for an application to re-run. I couldn't sleep anyway and was listening to Art Bell.
12 hours sounds about right for the flight - we went back there a year ago for the kids to see DC and for our daughter to get a feel for East Coast lifestyle to see where she wanted to apply for college. She decided California was more her style since UH's architecture program isn't very highly ranked, so we're taking her out to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this fall. I'm with you on flying though - hate it. It's about 5 hours to LA, bad enough.
Oh, I've been up. Just got back from lunch at the chow hall. It's mid-day here now and hotter'n blazes.
Well You missed the chance to see it again.
Try increasing You potassium intake for the cramps.
Good Morning,
I take it they did not offer enchaladas/Tacos/queso.
When are You coming home?
Great idea to ask people about why they're up. I think alot of Freepers are Owls .
When are You coming home?
Good (wee hours to you) morning!
Nope. Had turkey and (Stove Top) dressing. When they do have Mexican food, it's kind of scary. We from Texas have not braved that yet.
Coming home in December for an extended R&R at Christmas. Must have Mexican food and see a Texans game. :-)
It is now 1:14 p.m. in Baghdad and getting hotter. Over 120 out there now.
I'm an insomniac. Have been all my life. I'll start to get sleepy about sunrise.
A totally annoying/sick movie starring Ashton Kurtchner(sp?)(the guy from "That 70's Show). It's mostly annoying because the ending doesn't make any sense at all. It's one of those psychobabble type movies-IMO a waste of 4 bucks.
Take care of yourself over there in Baghdad. Hope the time passes quickly until you can come home.
Let's see, new baby (6.5 weeks old) got me up at 3:45 CST, went back down 20 minutes ago but now I am awake and not too happy about it :( Besides that, I have a 23 month old with a broken leg who wears me out. I am overtired, methinks.
The name is not familiar. I used to live in Wilkes-Barre but could not stand the city and how it was going down hill over the last few years. Moved into the country where I like it better.
