Hume was mentioning at the same time how Carter's balloon drop failed too, and how that was a kind of keynote for the Carter failure.
Baloons will "rise" with all that hot air kerry was spouting..........
We managed to save some of the Kerry website pages having to do with "restorehonesty.com" (use that as search word) and the rest of the Joe Wilson lies, but I'm not sure where the homosexual marriage and immigration amnesty pages might be saved.
.
You're doing it again, sweet Petronski. Wasting your breath on one who is here to create havoc. :o)
Go Johnny, Go?
Ugh!
I quit.
No more tonight.
"Reward companies" Ie, more corporate welfare.
You noticed that too, eh?
>>>Yep. He's a corporate liberal, one of the biggest in the Senate. One thing he didn't mention is "fair trade." Notice?
Because he's a big advocate for so-called "free trade."
This was the move to the right that every media consultant said he had to do.
He may talk the talk ala clinton, but Kerry in NOW WAY has the abiltiy to walk the walk.
Wallice is inteviening some lesbian now.
Just read what you said, and I agree, in the main.
I'm an outsider (I'm in Ireland), and the main problems I find with the speech are the sweeping generalisations.
It's a massive 'I will do' this, without saying how. Like a collegiate student union election - full of grandiose ideal, but without the 'oomph' to make any real change happen.
Solid, traditional voters will see this as perfectly fine - allowing them a basis to air-punch and yahoo.
Swing voters? I don't think so. There is a lot of bluster, but little substance there.
I could have written that speech for myself.
And delivered it better.
Maybe I'll be elected as chairwoman at my next musical society meeting! :-)
The speech was too long. His chin is too long. He sweat for too long. This photo op is too long. The convention was too long.
Hear, hear. Don't go negative, or if you really must, USE HUMOR. It's infinitely more memorable.
Fred Barnes just mentioned how Kerry spent twice as much time on the flag as he did on his record.
I have asthma. Several of my cousins have it. Several aunts and uncles have it. My grandmother used to have it.
Pattern? Doesn't the dummy know it's inherited????!
Michael Barone on the floor for Fox News, saying that the crowd did not cheer except when Kerry slammed Bush.
He said in all the years he's ever been going to convention, this is the first convention he's seen that's all about hate: hate for George W. Bush.
You have *got* to be kidding. Is Chrissie on the air while drunk?
Chrissie sits there every night presiding over a table of Kerry foam. He has a viewing audience of 10 people. Good thing we have one freeper monitoring.
What a sweet, funny post. Barney walking to CA to be on Jeopardy. Just delightful. b.
From your post,to GOD's ears.
Mary Beth Cahill on FNC..................
Sometimes a skunk just needs at least one poke with a stick. LOL
