The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq.

New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said trucks would be banned starting Monday from the Williamsburg Bridge, which connects Brooklyn and lower Manhattan.

The Holland Tunnel, which runs from New Jersey into lower Manhattan, would be closed to all inbound commercial traffic beginning Monday, said Tony Ciavolella, spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Kelly said police also were advising businesses to safeguard their heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Maryland Homeland Security Team Returns Home

A group of Maryland security officials are back home after a week-long tour of Israel with new ideas on how to protect airports, ports, building and other installations under constant threat of terrorism.

Dennis Schrader, the state's homeland security director; Assistant Transportation Secretary James Ports; transit administration Police Chief Douglas DeLeaver and Charles County Sheriff Fred Davis were among the attendees. Schrader says the number of security circles used in Israel is impressive.

According to Schrader, the security tightens as people get through checkpoints inside and outside facilities. Last fall, Governor Robert Ehrlich and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon agreed to the exchange during the governor's visit to Israel.
